Can definitely say after Farm Aid yesterday I am nowhere ready to attend an indoor show and am glad the band continues to be cautious about rescheduling.

It was just gross to be back amongst that many unmasked people. Needed a negative test or proof of vax to get in, so there was that, but there were too many people in too tight a space, and this was outdoors. My PJ tix are for the GA floor. I'm not ready for that yet.

Wait until Delta isn't as easily transmissible as it is right now.  If you are happy with the current state of COVID you must be living under a rock.  If the band decides to play before I'm ready I will sell my tix (to people I know, don't PM me lol).

Maynard had to be practically dragged off of the road even as cases were being confirmed at Tool shows during the early days of the pandemic.  I dont consider a Tool tour to mean a whole lot in terms of the state of the touring industry.  They might be the first to demand proof of ivermercitin treatment though!

I don't understand your sanctimonious/condescending tone.  Tool played their last show on 3/11, only 2 days after Pearl Jam's announcement.  Then, knowing that it would not likely be safe to tour again until 2022 at the earliest, they responsibly CANCELLED their tour to put money back in the pockets of their fans.

With Megadeath and Priest cancelled (get better Richie!), I have no shows on the horizon - something to look forward to in March would be great right about now!

I hope so. I have put off scheduling anything in March or April of next year to make sure that I won’t have a conflict with the St Louis rescheduled date.

Not to mention MJK spoke out about having contracted Covid and took it very seriously. He had some long term issues and didn't take it lightly.

Toronto just went from 15k people to 30k people for the Blue Jays games. Rogers Centre holds 53k and they had the roof open the whole time vs the Yankees.

So that makes sense, and could set up a Canadian leg like 2005 and 2011
