Sorry if I missed it but how is the black version different from the 2016 release? The description for amazon says its the first time available since original release. Just bad cut and paste?
There hasn’t been any further update from the ten club so it’s assumed they just cut and pasted without updating the description.
Imagine having a fan club where 10's of thousands of fans all have the same questions and the fan club actually hires moderators and they don't answer the questions the fans have been asking?
the mods aren't here to answer our questions about merch. any time someone has a question about merch, we're supposed to send 10C an email. you'll likely get a non-response anyway, but any time I've asked a mod something like this I get told "not sure, contact 10C via email".
Imagine having a fan club with 10's of thousands of fans with no one to answer their questions, lol?
Whom is 10c?
dude, they have a contact section with several different ways to contact ten club for whatever your issue/question is.
mods moderate. they aren't tech support or customer service.
We ask questions on here though. It's not a lot to ask...
it's not a lot to ask of you to ask the correct department. you don't go to the baby section of walmart to ask about electronics.
Stop it, stop.
Pointless argument.
I win so nanny nanny boo boo.
imagine complaining about something and then telling someone else it's a pointless argument.
sure, you win. congrats.
The argument was pointless because I disagree and you do not agree.
It's an impasse. I said I won to be funny. Text doesn't always show my humorous side.
Kind of surprised this coming from you anyways?
All I was trying to do is point out where to direct your questions. I made the same mistake a couple times, Kat and Sea set me straight to whom I should contact for each issue, and now I do that. You said "no one to answer their questions", which is false. there's a multitude of different links for different issues.
From Metallica: The Black Album is one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed records of all time, with global sales of over 35 million, and contains a series of unrelenting singles, “Enter Sandman,” “The Unforgiven, “Nothing Else Matters", “Wherever I May Roam,” and “Sad But True.” The standard album is remastered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering.
So, does that mean Bob is still mastering or is this another old cut repackaged?
Looks like it sold. I used be able to view the page source info to find the real sale price but I think eBay closed that loop hole. Anywhere close to the asking price seems like a major overpay by the buyer though.

It was a best offer accepted. I don’t ever remember seeing prices on best offers. For all we know it sold for $10 or $499. I doubt it was anywhere close to $500 (or $10 either obviously). There’s 7 or 8 that sold for $200 and one with a listing price of $250 but with a best offer accepted. Pretty reasonable to assume this one went for about $200 too.

$309, $235 and $210 are the last 3 sales. Use 130 point for completed ebay sales. I use it for sports cards to find out what the "best offer" was.

That’s cool. Never heard of 130 point. What is that?

Awesome, Chris! The view page source used to work but now the final price shows up as “null”. Thanks for the tip 👍🏻

eBay doesn’t post the price. But there have been a number of hacks over the years to find out the amount of the offer accepted… Like the site Chris posted. The website Watch Count used to provide it and until recently you could find in the source code for the auction.

It's a site we use to check on completed sales for sports cards but works for anything.
@Santos L. Halper Is this really mastered by Bob Ludwig for vinyl? Or by one of his employees? Bob stepped down from mastering vinyl some time ago. If he really did this release, it would be huge.

It's really frustrating that these things sell out as quickly as they Do, and then they pop up for sale instantly. I would have bought one for cost price!

Haven’t had a chance to spin it yet. Hoping to tomorrow.

Has anyone figured out yet what the difference is between the 2016 pressing and 2021. This seems to remain a mystery. Are the black pressings exactly the same?
