I love PJ as much as the next. But PJ and Foo sell out at the same rate. PJ seems faster cause they hold and presell tickets for their fan club.
FF doesn’t have a fan club system they hold seats for.
FF even has 1.6 million more FB followers than PJ, FWIW.
Sorry, I’ve just never seen the superiority of one band over the other.
    I love them both.

to be fair, PJ tours so much less than FF which makes tickets that much harder to come by

FF are great, and Dave is a fantastic frontman. Been to a few of their shows and have enjoyed them all. With that being said, I would take the anticipation of an entirely new set list, and multi hour PJ show 100/100 times. There is something really special about switching things up each and every night. Has to be a PIA for the band, but they’ve made it such a signature of their tours. I would never travel to multiple FF shows because each night is the same (albeit extremely fine tuned) performance. Part of the PJ experience is not knowing what you’re going to get on any given night.

Jadler, spot on. 73 shows in. If it wasn't for the different sets wouldn't follow them.  Have seen FF every tour and once a tour is enough. There is a reason why I catch a West Coast swing.

Looking forward to the next shows.

Lack of news is frustrating to say the least... Seems like the guys are out and about having 4th of July fun with their celeb friends... Covid here in NY is being put in the past... Was in MA over the weekend... PACKED bars, restaurants, ferries, etc. No masks. The feeling around the US is that COVID is over. Guess it's up to the promoters now... follow the money. Probably won't play until they can guarantee a sell out. Black Crowes are about to begin tour this month and are practically giving away tickets... Hartford is 1/2 empty, NY 3/4 empty.
Those Crowes shows were a terrible idea before Covid even hit. They haven’t been an amphitheater level headliner for over 20 years. Pearl Jam won’t have trouble selling out anywhere and they know it.
Anywhere as long as it’s one of 8 to 10 cities or so. A full long tour like they used to do I would question how many cities sell out.

Of my 37 shows (all since 2010) the only one I can remember being noticeably empty was Tulsa 2014

Alternatively, the Florida 2016 run was under rated.  The Miami crowd was NUTS!  Would definitely go out of my way for the next Miami show after that night

I second the comments about Miami 2016.  From the moment it opened with Corduroy it never let up.  In my experience it is second only to Seattle 8.10.18.

I think there is the one good rumor for a possible October Seattle show. Other than that it is a thread about the Foo Fighters and other bands touring.

So I went as far back as 2009 and the latest they have ever announced a fall tour in NA was July 9th 2009. July 8th 2013 was second and that actually was way ahead of the ticket lottery.

I am curious when people are going to write this year off as only getting two shows. Yes people have said we are getting more this year and yes we are coming out of a pandemic which is very unique but surely if they were doing something else this fall it has to be announced in the next couple of weeks right? What date is the date of no return for you that this is all we are getting this year? I think July 31st for me.

I think they announced March 2020 shows in January 2020.  There was information leaked by a certain Greek before that, but formal announcement was only ~2 months before dates.  If they do something late Oct-Nov, they could possibly announce as late as mid-late August.  Not ideal, but may want to announce re-scheduled dates at the same time.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

I will not write it off until Labour Day.  They might have something up their sleeves but are holding off to further confirm they won’t have to cancel if they did announce something.

Big time sad. Least throw us a make up date or something on those North American 2020 rescheduled shows.

This is not good.  I also read that LA county cases per 100k doubled in the last week.  Mostly unvaccinated people.  Hopefully it’s just a little blip but not good.

If they are 10C tickets yes you can. Just reply to the ticketstoday email from Mar 10th 2020. If they are Fan to Fan then you just go into your tickets on your TM account and get one that way. If you bought them through the public sale or public presale you are shit out of luck until they announce the new dates.

If it was me and I did not need the cash I would at least wait until the new dates finally role out and see if I can absolutely not make it.
