We basically know the March 2020 shows are March 2022 and Euro 2020 is officially announced as Euro 2022.  So we know enough to make intelligent decisions if new outdoor shows for 2021 are announced - which - I would support whole heartedly despite having a stack of arena tickets gathering dust.
how do we basically know March 2020 will be March 2022? that would be amazing if so. I have to rebook my cancelled flight to Ottawa by end of this year or it's lost. when did the announcement happen in 2019? anyone remember?
Announcement was Jan 13th though we knew pretty much all of the dates before hand. We don't know for sure March 2022 but all signs are pointing that way with the QC head of arena saying Feb/Mar, TM updating to fit all of the shows in Mar with a TBA when you search them and Jeff A saying in the interview no arena shows.

Gotta think they will this time. Dates are more than likely set right now. 2019 they were set in Nov/Dec if I remember right.

For what it's worth, Massey Hall in Toronto just announced a boatload of shows, beginning with Gordon Lightfoot in late November. Hopefully this augurs well for Canadian shows (not just Pearl Jam, but shows in general), especially with vaccines becoming so widely available. It's nice seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Yes, and this time the tour announcement isn’t tied to the album announcement like it was back then.

There was also a guy apparently with actual knowledge on one of these boards confirming March, in addition to what PJNB cites.

Yes, 2020 was the most definite intel I've ever seen for a tour. We knew just about everything.

RIP my Saturday night show in Baltimore with GA tickets and a hotel two blocks away...

For what it’s worth...have a friend that’s worked for MSG for a few years who texted me “coming up in March?” I said for what? His response was “🤐”...I asked how many dates are they holding? He hasn’t responded and it’s been 3 hours...

Agree that with Jeff saying “I don’t see any way for us to go back into arenas by the end of the year” that March 2020 is a lock to happen in spring 2022.

The only remaining question to me is whether or not some outdoor shows will be added this fall around the festivals

If they’re going to play sheds late Summer or Fall they’d have to announce something pretty soon here.

Gotta think they are going to do at least one more show this year. Whether that means no EV show or something extra I am not sure yet.

Yeah, not to be greedy, because I will be there, but it would be a silly waste of time for the band not to play Saturday night.
His eminence has yet to show.

I know concerts are returning down south, but Clapton is an anti mask, anti vaccine, COVID denier so using him as an example doesn’t mean much.

NBA playoffs have full arenas in every part of the country. That good enough?
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

The foo fighters are playing a full capacity MSG this Sunday. Get out with the “down south” crap. There is nowhere in the US you won’t be able to play within a few months. Even California is 100% capacity for football this fall.
