    Do you really not see the differences here? First we haven't heard what the docs are...what level of classification, etc. Second, Biden didn't try to avoid turning them over and insist that they weren't there.

    There is no comparison. If you are outraged about this you should be livid about tRump's situation.

    When every single activity done by an individual stinks to high heaven, every further act will be scrutinized because the individual has shown themself to be of poor moral character, and the scrutiny is proven to be warranted.

    Conversely, if you show yourself to be generally well-intentioned, you get the benefit of the doubt, and when you make an honest mistake, people assume that to be the case instead of ill-intent. 

    Also - this level of name-calling was seen as immature by no later than third grade up in Canada. Is it seen as adult behaviour where you are?

    Edit: one more thing. I haven't heard any Democrat supporters here say "drop the investigation, this is a witch hunt". This is the fact-finding part of the story, and we'll find out whether we should feel betrayed and/or outraged shortly. 'The left' doesn't seem to be opposed to due diligence the way 'the right' seems to.

    You're not serious with this, are you?  Both Bush and Obama (and now Biden) all discovered classified documents in their possession.  In all cases, they immediately notified the National Archives and immediately turned them over.  In today's case, Biden's team turned them over THE NEXT DAY.  How can you compare all of that with Trump refusing to turn over documents, having his attorneys lie, etc.?  At least be reasonable, can't you?
