    That’s true, but when there’s an election, Dems need to debate. In AZ, the gov race is tied per the polls, and the dem, Katie Hobbs is refusing to debate because the R is an election denier. So this week the debate stage, and every tv market, will have the GOP candidate alone on the stage.

    46 needs to be on the phone every day imploring Hobbs to debate. 
    I would think that at this point, the way to game the polls would be to invest heavily in bringing your own to the voting booth. There's way less persuading involved in chasing the vote of those who agree with you but don't regularly vote, rather than trying to get the unconverted onto your side. I also feel that polls are less important than momentum immediately leading up to voting day, since people are impulsive and whimsical and love the bandwagon.

    That said, I agree that a Democrat refusing to debate a Republican because they're an election denier, is a very bad call on their part.

    Well, that election if he chooses to run again is still 2 years out. So this decision by OPEC won't have any bearing then. Gas could be $2.29 or $6.69 by then who knows. This will hurt the Dems next month, cause as Merkin Baller mentioned, we all know the democrats control OPEC oil output and global oil/gasoline prices/markets.

    Biden actually said that if OPEC cuts the oil that they are aligning with Russia.  So there is that.  It's a perfect platform for the GOP to run with too though.  Low hanging fruit.

    If it were that easy we would have done so after 9/11.

    It's not crazy to think that the dollar would no longer purchase oil.  It is what China and Russia have been striving for a while now.
