There's no way Jordan doesn't get the judiciary.  He's been next to McCarthy the whole time, so it would be unrealistic that he wouldn't get it UNLESS the final speaker is an enemy of McCarthy, but I don't think that's likely.

Does anyone think this kind of thing actually makes a difference to GOP voters at the end of the day though, at this point?? Given the kinds of people who being voted into office by them, I don't feel like Republican voters mind a clown show at all. In fact, they seem to love and admire clowns.

As far as I know, the rules for the congress applies to all members, not just the majority.  Therefore, any member(s) could call for the no confidence vote.

Dems better NOT cut a deal. Fuck the repubs. They had their opportunities to be “responsible” and respectful. They have no decorum and you can’t trust them. At all. Let them twist and burn. This is what needs to happen to the repub party. It’ll then need to rise from the ashes. Good luck.
