I initially thought id never buy or hang these...then my wife said "your going to skip the pandemic posters? The time no one will ever forget?" Lets just hope it ends and then these are a nostalgic item.
haha, same here. seeing i'm working from home and have a little empty wall space behind me, a pandemic poster in a cheap frame makes for an okay videochat background

Right?
I joke with people, or half joke, sadly...we all hope this ends and ends quickly, but we are a long way off, and some people may have seen their last concert including myself. I have Crohns Disease and take medicines that suppress my immune system. Mike probably takes something similar.

That's sort of my thinking. Not sure I'd hang them, but will look at them in the portfolio and think back to the F5 crew and 2020 ...
I miss my Apollo pals, but not sure if I will buy the poster. Even though I won tickets, (sorry SHZA) no idea if I'm still going to Apollo next year or will have to call again!

Is the thought that these posters will remain for the shows when they're played or will a new batch of posters replace them? I know no one has the answer. Curious on thoughts though.
Using OKC for example, if the show had happened, I’d have the potential to get the OKC poster along with just those there at the show.
Now, with with an online release, I’ve got to fight with everyone worldwide for the same poster. The fact that others now have the same access significantly diminishes my chances of getting the poster to the event that I actually had tickets to.
Frustrating, but I totally get it. Almost makes me want to jump in and purchase posters to other shows I wouldn’t have gone to so that if I miss out on OKC, I may have some trading equity.

If it makes you feel any better, the STL poster was in the shop for almost a full day. You have to stay vigilant for sure but no reason to think you won’t be able to score an OKC.

Judging by how long Hamilton has been available and STL was available before selling out, you're not going to have to fight anyone to get an OKC poster if you want it. It'll be much easier than standing in line for hours at the arena.
Hey everyone.... I am having my sale on Wednesday at 8 AM Pacific... will be sending out an email tonight, but am still unable to get my facebook page to allow me in, so there most likely will be no post there
I do have a question for you all though..... I wanted to wait for my sale and see what artists were charging because I have been uncertain what is a fair price to charge for these.
I see the conversation happening in this thread talking about what artists should charge, and am curious to know what you all think is a fair price.
I have 200 of each, of Nashville and Phoenix.... normally, as most of you are aware, I charge between $60-65...then I watch other artists charge $100... so for the bigger shows, the baseball stadium shows, I figure I can up my prices a little.... but it's a conflict... I want to keep things in the somewhat affordable range, and don't want to price gouge, but then I don't want to leave money on the table either...especially given I have been out of work like many others for the past 5 months and most likely for the rest of the year at least.... so I want to make sure I do right by you all but also take care of myself due to the uncertainty of my profession as a poster artist during a time of no concerts
so I figure I would just ask you all...... I was thinking $85.....what are your thoughts?
@bradklausen good on your for asking for input and I see where you landed. I think you should feel comfortable setting the price wherever you like. My feeling is that, at a print of 200, you would sell out just as quickly at $100 as $65 or $85. I think you could go north of $100.
My email is registered but I did not get an email...and I cannot remember my password. Need to dig some before tomorrow AM.
Thanks for all of your art & the communication with us!
Agreed, I waited in line for 90+ minutes in Seattle before bailing on the line to not miss the band. I've never purchased a poster at a PJ show. Additionally, it seems as if there are two allotments being sold per show. The 10c webstore allotment and the tour allotment, so even more chances. If you're on it you'll likely have an easy time securing one here. STL was up for hours and Hamilton is still up.

Nothing easy about getting a poster at a show anymore other than losing 4 hours of vacation. Best chance is to go into show when doors open, and go to upper level and get in line. Worked for MSG last show.

Are you telling me its easier to F5 then to stand in line for 1-2 hours at a show?.........lol. All jokes a side this might be the easiest way to score a poster. Maybe this could be the new norm.

That's what we're saying. Some people have an easier time doing this, others waiting in line.

It won’t be because the only reason it’s easier right now is because they have all the copies intended to be sold at the show.
Look at all of us pretending there’s gonna be concerts again someday wink emoji.

No you weren't. The APs have never been sold at the venue. Always online drops where you're fighting with everyone worldwide.

A/P’s aren’t sold in the shop. Only directly from the artist. Those drops are always frantic and you’re always competing against the whole world for those posters.
