"Mr Guitar, on the other hand, has clearly been the band's breakthrough hit of the 21st Century" - really???? I disagree with this statement!
We'll agree that your assessment on this is clearly wrong then.
I'd love a 15 minute JG slow jam to end the show, dropping that Yellow Ledbullshit dud.
I like that idea. In addition, they could also start the show with a 15 minute jam and then weave bits and pieces of the song throughout the setlist. Like at the end of Daughter and Betterman and use it as the intro for Not For You and MFC maybe, for example. Give the people what they want: ALL JOHNNY GUITAR, ALL THE GOD DAMN TIME.

EPIC!
Oh I like that.. DMB does that with Lie in our Graves.. they open with it, and then close the set with the end of the song.. EPIC is right!
The Juggler has posted what has been in internal debate in my head since 2009 after I first heard Johnny Guitar. I haven’t been able to decide which is better in 11 years so I won’t be able to decide today.

We know who is in your heart. His name is Guitar....John Guitar.

A perfect song about heartbreak and loss, or a song about a child's bike riding flamboyant showman from the 70's. No doubt about it, Johnny Guitar. Thanks for posting this poll, it is fucking funny.
