You'd think a Biden victory would have mellowed people out around here!
Sorry, that must have come out wrong. It seems to me you have to have an experienced administrator to manage the joint chiefs, president, etc. I think State is totally different. That's image, first and foremost.
Ha ha...I was like "man, I definitely don't wanna argue over SecDef hypotheticals!"
I honestly don't have the first clue what goes into it. I perused that Politico article the other day, remembered seeing her name, and thinking "oh, that's interesting."
😂😂😂 Republicans accepted all the senate races outcomes but not the presidential results?
Yeah, you would think if it was so rigged, that they would've rigged it to over take the Senate too!
What a JOKE !!
The "explanation" i saw on that was all these mysterious ballots that were all marked Biden with nothing checked on the down ballot races. that was their explanation for the dems not filling the senate. LOL

yes, because they could fill them out more rapidly if they just fill in one circle. hahaha. like there are teams of people just sitting there and filling up ballots to head to the counters.
To think that Team Trump Treason Tax Cheat voters/supporters think he's "tough." He fired his Defense Secretary via tweet. Seriously? Tough, tough guy. He's such a small, small man. Anyone who thinks he's the tough NYC real estate mogul, can I borrow a grand?
The cartoon shows the police on the side of the GOP, and indeed they are. The National Association of Police Organizations endorsed Trump.
But so are religious leaders, military, some business people, but they aren't represented there. And certainly people on the far left (probably left of actually voting) were part of riots at some level, but that's not represented.
Just how crowded do you want that cartoon to be?
And I don't think the point of the cartoon involved riots. Perhaps you should draw your own.
I'm saying I think the cartoon is wrong. Those aren't the two sides. Cartoonists can do what they want, but don't expect me or anyone else not to say... meh that's kind of bullshit.
Some young girl is holding up a poster that her mom made for her. So that proves it, cops and the kkk are the same thing. Argument over I guess.
Pretty sure teenagers can make posters... interesting though that you'd ridicule this kid and ignore the FBI report...
I wasn't ridiculing her. Its hard to judge with a mask, to me she looked like a 2nd grader. Still, she is saying cops = KKK. that is not true. The FBI report said the KKK and cops are the same thing?I didn't see that.
@rgambs has a good point though, it is interesting to see which posts you do & don't respond to.
thats the 'perfect' fence sitting thing for McConnell to say. He is going to allow Trump's court cases to end in losses, and put it completely on Trump to give up. McConnell, graham, cruz, and others will continue kicking the can down the road. Next step will be to 'wait until the election is certified', then who knows.
If they piss off Trump and the cult it isnt good for them. If they openly support the conspiracy theories (which they dont, they only mention there is still open issues and court stuff, and we need every legal vote to be counted), then they will look bad along with Trump when it gets proven false.
I may not agree with Sasse on much, but I like Sasse.
Sen. Sasse congratulates Biden, ‘the next president’
By Paulina Firozi
Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) congratulated Biden, calling him the “next president.”
“Melissa and I congratulate the next president, Joe Biden, and the next vice president, Kamala Harris,” Sasse said in a statement Sunday to the Omaha World-Herald. “Today in our house we pray for both President Trump and President-Elect Biden, that both would be wise in the execution of their respective duties during this important time in our nation.”
Sasse is among a small group of Republican senators that have issued statements congratulating the president-elect, even as Trump continues to allege widespread election fraud.

yep. mcconnell ain't no dummy. he knows why they are where they are: trump's base. he's walking that tight rope for some time.

Just wait for Lindsey Flimsy Flip Flop Faloozy Graham to open senate hearings on voter fraud. The repub scream machine will be loud for 4 years. I look forward to witnessing his feigned disgust at the poor vote counter in Philly when he testifies that he threw away a piece of paper and had to go into hiding because of the death threats he received. He'll have that shit eating grin, low southern drawl of charm and then explode into, "how could you! I've never seen such an unpatriotic display as your actions! Why you should be jailed! This is AMERICA!" What a shit show of a party.

What would you like my insight on? i find it inaccurate and actually disgusting that people say cops and KkK are the same thing. And people here defend that statement. I stood up against it. I guess you disagree with me and believe they are one and the same. if I step away for half a day there’s 100 posts. I usually just skip to the last page, this was like 10th from the bottom. i also chose not to add my input if it’s already been said a dozen times. I don’t see a point in jumping on that band wagon if I have nothing new or different to say. Those are usually the 2 reasons I do or don’t respond to a post. Someone sharing a post saying cops and KKk are the same thing, not that there are some bad cops or there needs to be change, but literally said cops are the KKK, and no one disputed that, I found it relevant to dispute that.

some of those that work forces, are the same that burn crosses.
you can't say that there are no members of the kkk or other hate groups within the police force. i guarantee you some of them are boogaloo bois or proud boys. may not be specifically kkk, but basically the same fucking thing.

Nah. There are lots of other groups that could have been included, sure, but there’s nothing incorrect about the placement of those particular groups in the cartoon.

no one is saying that. the poster is misleading in that it states that the police and the kkk are the same. that's a pretty disgusting thing to put on a poster and have your kid hold up for a pic in hopes it goes viral, which i guarantee was at least part of the motivation for this.
