Wow! Are you an editor? If not, you should be!
I’m just going to leave this here.
Looks like not much has changed in the 15 years since I had to live near these people.
If I’m being honest, I don’t see how I wouldn’t have gone out and partied if my school was still open as an 18-21 year old. I blame the school more than the kids...
No, the students are to blame. They aren't kids. They are adults that know better but are selfish. Not everyone needed to get wasted every weekend in college.
Sounds like someone was never invited to the party.
Hahahah funny.
It really is the kids fault. Now - pretty easy to see this coming as despite pretending to be adults, 18-21 year olds are not adults or barely are.
This says a lot of about college kids unfortunately. Stuff we already knew.
And knowing that, colleges should have been remote learning, cause the kids are too old to listen and to young to not be dumbasses.
If this had all happened when I was in college, I may have partied. But that doesn’t mean it would not have been my fault...well, our fault.

Ha. Why doesn't anyone like me?????????? But yeah, tired of the thought that 18 year old's aren't adults. Schools use that bullshit to convince you that you need 4-5 years of extra schooling and rack of thousands of student loans.
Full disclosure: I think I went to two parties in college. I hate going to bars now when friends want to go (unless you don't have to scream to talk over the music). Just not my scene.
I am a veteran. I volunteered for military service during wartime. So did my father. His generation saved the world from fascism.
In our travels, my wife Lorrie and I have always made it a point to visit military bases, hospitals and cemeteries, to meet and honor those who serve and have served our nation.
I have long known that serving a cause greater than oneself is the highest calling, whether in the military or in civilian life. And I have always tried to be a voice of reason and to speak in a measured way.
But this situation calls for a much more direct approach. It is time to call out egregious behavior for what it is.
For the first time in American history, a president has repeatedly shown utter and vulgar contempt and disrespect for those who have served and died serving our country.
While I am not surprised, I am disgusted by the current occupant of the Oval Office. He has repeatedly and consistently shown himself to be completely unfit for and to have no respect for the office he holds.
He took an oath of office that is similar to the one that each person takes who enters the U.S. Military. But he has completely failed to uphold his oath.
Now we know why. He has admitted that he cannot comprehend the concept of service above self.
He cannot understand selflessness because he is selfish. He cannot conceive of courage because he is a coward. He cannot feel duty because he is disloyal.
We owe it not only to those who have served and sacrificed for our nation, but to ourselves and to succeeding generations to vote him out.

how can the trump campaign be broke less than 60 days before the election??
He's taking the money for other reasons. Anyone who has donated to the campaign has to feel like as much of a sucker as they do for donating to Bannon's Build the Wall fund. But they don't. They'll give Trump the money that was for their kids' braces...

i saw somewhere that trump was considering putting 100 million of his own money into the campaign. either way, he is going to need that money. either for the campaign, or to pay his lawyers once his term is up and the SDNY gets ahold of him.

No way that happens. He bragged about self funding his campaign four years ago when, in fact, he only put up a very small amount.
I'd actually be surprised if he has anywhere close to that to put into the campaign. I guess he could take out a loan from a foreign bank again though...

it is being reported that trump actually has nowhere near 100 million at all. let alone being a billionaire. he is gonna need to get cash from somewhere. i am thinking it is going to come from a foreign government that will not be russia because that will be too obvious.

Same thing is happening in Indiana....I'm getting this today
It's interesting that it's coming from a party. I don't understand that. I received an absentee ballot form from my county registar. I filled it out but I didn't notice I needed to put in my last four socials. About a week later I received it back from the county with a post it asking to fix the omission. I did so. I thought that was great that the person in the office went through that effort. And I'm in a very populated urban/suburban county.

I realize this is just a ballot request but given the current narrative from tRump (the dems are trying to steal the election, mail in voting is fraud, etc.) it seems very odd to send these to what I assume are just republicans. While I have voted Dem for years I am still a registered repub.

To clarify, I only received the request as well, not the ballot. But it came from the county, not the D party

Trump doesn't have $100 million. Not even if you count his solid gold toilets in Manhattan.

This is going to create a lot of confusion in Indiana...and it's the GOP that is causing it
Well, looking yesterday, Indiana moved from likely red to solid red. Something like 63% - 35% in favor of deputy dipshit (whatever is identical to North Dakota and nearly the same as Alabama). I'd say we, as a state are confused enough.

Registered Democrat and have not received this. It could be done by county, but I'd almost bank on it being done by the GOP in "swing" counties. I will advise if I receive one.
