I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.
  • well, i can guarantee there will be a pair in the next hour - because I have to go to a meeting and cant keep watching my screen and refreshing. So, it will definitely happen.

Also, I think there was no Baltimore ticket just posted, someone is trolling...

Does anyone know if a limit exists to the number of times you can buy and resell using fan-to-fan? I'm curious because in the app it currently shows I have 4 tickets 2 of which are "sold". Isn't there a four ticket limit per show? I haven't been able to locate any terms and conditions of fan-to-fan.

I should have called it quits with GNR (outside of the 1st 2 reunion shows they played at T-Mobile Arena I went to in Vegas, which were incredible) just to see Axl/Slash/Duff back together after I finally achieved one of my life's primary quests and nabbed the mic Axl tosses at the end of every show.

It's a pretty cool story, if anyone here is bored of F5'ing and wants to read about it.

Seen Tool in Atlantic City this past Nov.... just unreal. Friggin amazing. You'll be blown away.
I saw Tool last November in Toronto and I agree, it was amazing. Those guys are just on point all the time.

I saw GNR in Caesar's Palace in Vegas last November.  $300 ea for the absolute worst shit seats in the house.  It was supposed to be the end of the tour and it was at a 3,000 person venue Vegas, so the thought was that maybe they would finally do something different or special to close it out. They charged $1,500 ea for VIP where you DIDN'T EVEN GET TO MEET THE BAND.  You got to take some lame picture in front of one of those signs that celebs usually stop for photos for before big events, a piece of garbage swag bag, and a pit ticket.

It was the same fucking show I've seen like 15 times before, and like 2 months later they announced they were gonna play like 40 more shows this year.  They give less than a fuck about their fans, and I'm sick of being a sucker giving them my money anymore.
Was the setlist much different than what they were playing when they first got back together? I went and saw them at the first reunion show in Vegas and a few months later in Atlanta and was basically the same. Bought the cheapest nosebleed seats I could find for $90 and with a little photoshop magic turned them into GA pit tickets. Worked for both shows but now they don't allow print at home/mobile tickets for the pit so wont work again unfortunately. Would like to see them this year but with all the great bands touring this summer will probably skip it if its not much different than 2016. I was too young to see them in their prime but saw a show with the replacement members around 2013 which was better than I expected. It was a Sunday night and they went on around 10:45 and played til almost 2:00. Luckily we expected that and didn't show up until around 10 but I've heard they have been on time for all the reunion shows. Second latest show I've been to after a pajama dance party at Paisley Park where the doors opened at 2:00 AM and Prince played from 4:30-7:00 with a little break in the middle

It's what Zod said in his earlier post.

It's not really even a rock n roll show anymore.  It's 'come out and see Axl and Slash play all of your childhood favorites!'  It's so fucking scripted and polished at this point they might as well just play the fucking show on Broadway and be done with it.  None of it is for the real fans anymore.  It's all just to sell as many tickets as they possibly can for the most that they possibly charge.  It's 100% a business now.  They are essentially just GNR Inc. at this point, just wanting to sell their product to as many people that are still willing to pay for it.

I fucking fell asleep at the Vegas show last year I was so goddamn bored after dropping like $500 for the ticket.  For a band that used to come out on midnight, play till 2 and market themself as 'the most dangerous band in the world' it's just gone way too far the other way. They have now become everything they used to mock and rally against.

Also, we hung out with friends of the opening act in the casino before the show that told us no one from GNR were even willing to meet them before the show.  I mean, not even willing to meet your opening fucking act before a show?  Get fucked you dicks.

I would like your opinion on something:
So I was lucky enough to get some F5 tickets for Baltimore, but am still once in a while logging onto TM to see if I can snag another set (possibly to upgrade mine, but also in the hopes of nabbing them for reselling back to you guys after coordinating a time on this thread).   I know the tickets have been sparse lately, but I'm sure they will pick up again, and even though I'm not dedicating a ton of time at this point, it is possible I will come across some, just like yesterday when I logged on and instantly saw the Balt 226 tickets (it think that was the section) available.

Anyway, here's my question: I'm actually happy with the seats I have, so would it be better if I stayed out of the TM site and just let the tickets get sold as they have been selling, or would you prefer that I keep trying when I have time and then relist them here?  I'm not sure which helps or hurts the dedicated F5ers out there.  It seems like most of the tickets are already getting snagged by people on this thread, so I don't want to beat somebody out out at the last minute.

I logged on a few minutes ago and it was refreshing very slowly for me, but I haven't been on hardly at all today.

Tough question, if you're happy with your seats I'd say just keep them and move on. With so many ISO Baltimore how would you choose the person to coordinate with? I'm trying to upgrade my seats because I'm extreme side view. If I was happy with mine I wouldn't be trying.

First off, thanks for asking for opinions on this. As a rabid F5'er who has yet to score tix, I appreciate it. Having said that, I don't have a problem with you trying for an upgrade. Tix are fair game. Especially if your plan is to release the originals back into the wild. When you do that, I would just post in this group with ample notice, and put them up for grabs. I would not try and coordinate with a single person though, I'd just let the group know.

Or this. I like this too lol. Put me down on the list of F5'ers who would take someone up on an offer like this. Could make it into a lottery of sorts. Just scroll through the last 20 pages and search for "FUCK JUST MISSED" and make a list of usernames haha

I have the same plan.  Looking to upgrade and then would just sell my tickets for face value (+ fees) to someone on the board and walk in with them.  Or see if I can trade for MSG (longshot).

Classy move. Saltzy and GR are men (or women) of the people!
  • Just for clarification I have no issue if you continue to try either. Walking in with someone might be the best idea because who knows what could happen putting them back out there. Or like @BagCzech said, just post a warning they are coming soon and whoever gets them gets them.

About walking someone in, if someone has all four tickets but the seats are in different sections, what do they show the usher? I guess at this point since your're past the front door a screen shot is OK?

I'm pretty sure that when you enter the venue you get handed a small paper receipt with your section / row / seat
