Still Waiting for TM Email Confirming Tix (Win or Lose)

Based on multiple posts over the past few days, it’s clear that there is a large number of 10C members who still have not received any email confirmation from Ticketmaster/Ticketstoday in connection with the upcoming US shows. The problem seems to be affecting a lot folks who submitted for both of the LA shows and/or both of the Oakland shows, but I’m also hearing of similar situations with other shows as well.

As far as I can tell, the situation seems to be the following:

1) We submitted ticket requests for multiple shows.
2) Ticketmaster confirmed receipt of our submission and promised an email by Sunday, January 19 confirming whether we scored tix.
3) We received a confirmation email from Ticketstoday confirming we won or lost tickets for some, but not all, of the shows we requested.
4) We are still waiting for an email from Ticketstoday in connection with the remaining shows included in our initial request.

Here is my situation, to reflect the problem more clearly:

- I requested Best Available for Oakland night 1 (1st priority) and Best Available for Oakland night 2 (2nd priority).
- Ticketmaster confirmed my submission for both shows.
- I received an email confirmation from Ticketstoday on Friday telling me I scored tickets for Oakland night 1.
- I still have not received any email (win or lose) from Ticketstoday regarding Oakland night 2. I double checked my spam folder, nothing there.

Please reply to this thread if you are still waiting for an email confirmation (win or lose) for any of the US shows. Please include details of your initial request (shows requested; GA, RES or BA; priority of your shows; and whether you won, lost or are still waiting to hear).

Still waiting for LA2.  I received LA1, single ticket, GA only, 1st request.  Nothing for LA2 yet.  It sounds like this may be more widespread than only LA and Oakland.  My brother still has no reply for his 1 and only San Diego request for BA.

    Same boat.

Priority 1: Won OAK 2 - BA almost immediately when oakland confirmations were reported.

Priority 3: OAK 1 - BA - unconfirmed still and no responses. Submitting an email to 10C and 10C support @ TM

I won Priority 2 and 4 shows for phx and SD. All 4 submissions were BA.

I am in the same boat.

    - I requested Best Available for Oakland night 1 (1st priority) and Best Available for Oakland night 2 (2nd priority).
    - I did not request any other shows
    - Ticketmaster confirmed my submission for both shows.

I never received an automated decline email for Oakland 1.

    My entries:

    1) Oakland 2 BA - Won

    2) Phoenix BA - Won

    3) LA2 BA - Won

    4) Oakland 1 BA - never received an email on Friday.  Emailed on Sunday and TM got back to me saying I lost.

    5) MSG BA - Lost  (did receive automated email)

If people are telling the truth, it appears that other members won Oakland 1 tickets with their 5th and 6th priorities.

I suspect that some of us were skipped in error in the drawing and thus we lost out.

Awesome that I got tickets to three shows!

    Priority 1 - MSG Res.

    Priority 2 - BA Baltimore

I know these were the hardest shows so I am sure I lost, but I have not received any type of email. I have double checked my confirm email and it looks good. I have also been checking my spam.

Ditto.  Requested the following and ranked them accordingly.

    Priority 1. Oakland 2 GA/Reserved
Got the email saying I got tickets and credit card charged.

    Priority 2. Oakland 1 GA//Reserved
No email yet saying I won or lost.

These were the only two shows I requested.

I entered Oak1 with priority 1 and Oak2 with priority 2.  Received an email confirming Oak 1 on Friday.

Nothing on Oak2.  I emailed 10csupport@tm and their response last night was "you didn't get an email because we are still selecting tickets, you will get an answer this evening"....no email received so I responded to their email this morning and they said that I did not win tix for Oak2.

However....I still did not receive the official email stating that I didn't get tix.

    Something got screwed up

Put in for both LA shows and both Oakland shows.

    Oakland 1- GA #1 priority
    Oakland 2- GA #2 priority
    LA 1- BA #3 priority
    LA 2- GA #4 priority

Received 4 emails Friday at the same time that I lost all 4 shows. Heart broken since Friday.

    Wife put in for

    Oakland 1- GA #1 priority
    Oakland 2- GA #2 priority

Still has yet to receive an email for either show. Received confirmation email when she made her picks. Has emailed Ticketmaster, still no reply besides the email they received her email.

Can someone tell me how we can be losers to shows they are still picking. How can I get a rejection email if the drawing isn’t over. Something is jacked up here and all the blame lies on Ticketmaster. I hope for everyone out there, they fix their shit and we get some great news today.

Before anyone posts “You probably messed up.” or “You know it’s a lottery right?” No, we didn’t mess up our orders. Yes, we are aware.

They messed something up. It would be nice if they even acknowledged that they made an error. I know there are other ways to get tickets, and I will, but this has been frustrating to see our concerns put off and then basically tossed aside.

Exactly.  I KNOW that people received rejections for OAK2.  I know that people (including me) received acceptance for OAK1.

So where is my response (yay or nay) for OAK2?

I know how they can fix this. Just grant all requests for both LA and OAK shows to the members who put in for them. If they end up being fan club only shows, even better.

    The Ticketmaster 10c number is 1 855 868 4782
They act like this isnt a problem and that no one else is having the issue. If enough of us contact them it will get harder to ignore.

    Priority 1:  LA 2 BA - won (confirmation e-mail received 1/17 11.26a pdt)
Priority 2:  LA 1 BA - no reply

Both on same order (confirmation e-mail received 1/15 9.03p pdt)
The odds at that time had both shows at 99%.

There are many reports of people getting tickets for the LA and Oakland shows with priorities 3 and lower while people that had these shows as priorities 1 and 2 still have not received a reply one way or the other.

For examples of people getting tickets with lower priority, please see threads on The Porch including:
These are just a few.  There are more posts in these threads.

If the priority consideration from the presale rules was followed (as has always been the case), this could not happen.  Obviously there was an error regarding requests for both shows for LA or Oakland with priority 1 and 2 (where the 2nd priority request seems to have been 'lost').

How can this be addressed (snipped from another post of mine):

    1.  If 10c ticket inventory remains, fill the orders.  Easy.
2a.  If 10c ticket inventory is completely used, release more to 10c to accommodate the people affected.  Their error, not ours.  That just means there's less inventory for verified and general sales.  Better yet, if they are doing platinum seats for LA and Oak, pull from there as a goodwill gesture.
2b.  If 10c ticket inventory is completely used, re-do the the lottery for LA and Oak shows from priority 2 until ticket inventory is gone.  Some people that received tickets at lower priority would lose their tickets.  Nuclear option (not something I would do).
    3. (added)  Do nothing.  These 10c members are out of luck.  Sorry.  (this is NOT acceptable).

Also, 10c and / or Tickets Today should respond with full transparency / disclosure on how and why this occurred and what was done to address it.

  • Same boat as the OP.  Received won email on pick #1 BA OAK1 on Friday at 4pm, nothing on pick 2 BA OAK2, and afternoon emailing their last response said that they hadn’t run the request yet so they couldn’t see if I had won or lost.

pretty sure they just never entered my second pick into the lottery at all and now they’re scrambling to figure out what to do.

Exactly....and calling TM does no good as the ticket reps can only tell if there are tix assigned to us or not.  They can't answer why we didn't get rejection emails if our entries were considered.

I'm thinking that it was a system screw up.

Same exact situation as OP. Request confirmed for both OAK shows, priority 1 and 2 respectively, confirmed for OAK1, nothing for OAK2.
Emailed TM help on Saturday, they said they couldn't tell me what tickets I got until after the drawing was done on the 19th.
Called TM help line yesterday, they said my request for OAK2 was still "pending"
Re-emailed TM today. Also called my Credit Card company to make sure they didn't deny something based on what could appear to be duplicate charges. No stopped charges.

  • I just called 10C Ticketmaster support. The representative told me that if I haven’t received an email telling me I won tickets for OAK 2, and if my credit card hasn’t been charged, then I was not selected for that show. I asked him why I did not receive an email by the evening of the 19th as promised, and he said there likely is a technical problem with the emails. He said he has received a number of calls about this today, so he acknowledged that it probably is a widespread problem.

He reminded me about the TM Verified Fan sale later this week. I told him I understood, but that it’s difficult for people to put in for Verified Fan tickets if we’re still waiting on a written response in connection with the 10C presale.

I also asked the representative how I could have been denied for my priority 2 show (Oakland night 2), while others have won tickets for that same show despite selecting it with their 3rd, 4th or even lower priority. He told me Ticketmaster is not responsible for the priority selection process - that is set by 10C. Essentially, he claimed the entire system for selecting folks is set by 10C, and TM has no control over it. He said I should contact 10C support (800-724-8038).

I also just finally received an email response from 10C Ticketmaster support telling me that if I haven’t received a confirmation email at this point, then it means I wasn’t selected. I plan to reply with the same question about the priority selection process, copying 10C support.

Bottom line: TM is denying any control over the priority selection process. I think the only way we get a straight answer is if we make 10C directly aware of the problem.

OAK 1 BA Priority 2 - no email (based off of response above not selected)
LA 1 BA Priority 3 - awarded seats
LA 2 BA Priority 4 - awarded seats

Excited to be able to see Pearl Jam, will attempt for the verified fan tickets.

Thanks to BizzyBozzy for posting that you got tickets with 7 and 8 priority.  Best of luck to all who didnt get tickets.

First choice:  Oakland night 2 BA  WON
Second choice: Oakland night 1 BA  no notice

Tried to enter the Verified Fan a couple hours before it was supposed to close last Wednesday, and the link was already down.  Screwed on that as well  :|

And people can’t say you didn’t know to update your priorities as Oakland would default to last if you did not adjust your priorities.

I got another email from TM.  They are sorry that I didn't get a rejection but I got rejected.

Still makes no sense.  And nothing against Bizzy whatsoever but it does not make sense that someone with 7/8 priority got tix over my 2nd priority.
