Denied for Baltimore (1st - Res) and St Louis (3rd - Res). Not surprised by Balt, kind of upset that the odds for StL weren't accurate - I might have bumped it up, had I known.

  • It's not a phishing scam. It's the same email everyone else is receiving. It references my original request number as well.

Both,.... I got the email confirming both... same as the first Email... and nearly 500 dollar total

Ok, that rules that out. Did you get a rejection email?
No, so could still be in...
This is the other part.....will someone like this get a confirmation on a later date?

If you buy verified fan tickets this Thursday and then find better seats through fan-to-fan...can you sell the verified fan tickets?  How does that work if they are non-transferable?
The verified fan tickets shouldn't be non-transferable, right? I mean, it's just a presale like any other presale but with higher priority on the presales. They aren't the same as fan club tickets. So they should be yours to do with as you please. And I'll admit, I didn't read much onto the verified fan presale. But even if they aren't, if you find tickets at a price you are willing to pay and sell the presale tickets for face value, you really didn't lose any money.
My understanding is every single ticket is non-transferrable except for MSG/Denver. That's why there are only Stubhub listings for those 2 shows. But should be able to sell for face in the exchange.
There haven't been any public sales yet, though. Even the fan presale is a public presale, you just had to register. Once the public sales happen there will be secondary tickets for every show. Looking at the ticket sale info though I wonder if they are going to make it so you can't resell tickets higher than face regardless of how you got them. That info wasn't limited to the lottery or presale, it was on the overall ticket info. If that's the case, that's kind of awesome.

Someone had posted some seriously worded language in the rules that all tickets are not eligible for resale and will be canceled if resold. I forgot the exact wording but it may be enough to keep the stub hubs of the world away for all the non NY and CO shows.

Lost STL in 3rd priority. So 99% odds were not accurate
  • I put in for four shows (Toronto, Baltimore, Oak 1&2) and got rejected for all of them. I expected to maybe not get 1 or 2, but this the first time ever, I've been completely shut out of fan club tickets since 1996. I'm disappointed in this new system. I know there will be other avenues for getting tickets (friends, other sales, etc) but I just don't see how this system is working for fan club members.

If that's all true, which it seems to be, should eliminate resellers that only get them to make money. Here's to hoping it works.

If they didnt reverse the charges I would still be skeptical, we have experienced in my industry wiring instructions grabbed via email, edited and some wired wired 30k to the scammers account

  • Went 0 for 1, first time not getting ten club tickets since 2006. With no option to buy ten club extras here and only to compete with public on the exchange, I’m questioning value of $40 per year?

I think putting in for BA is what messed people up. I selected reserved only. I didn’t want to touch best available because who knew what they would consider best and what was the order of elimination. I’d say that if you chose seats as a single pick and it was 99% you got tickets. If you chose best available who knows what they did.

So getting shutout once in 14 years is unacceptable?  Not sure what you expect, nobody can get tickets all the time

I questioned that too and it may be the biggest case, but someone here recently didn't get St. Louis with the only pick as being reserved. There were a few from yesterday that had top picks as reserved and didn't get picked either, so it's happened.

Sad they choose to let Ticketmaster take over the randomizing process. They was nothing wrong with the system that was in place before. I know too many people who put in for shows with 99% odds that didn’t win them that there is no chance that the odds were 99%.

Sorry in advance... Haven’t seen this asked but... Out of curiosity, does your rejection email indicate a receipt # that isn’t the same as the one on your confirmations? And, if so, did you go in and re-submit your selections?

Dump the odds. Send all win/loss emails at the same time (even if it would be Sunday in this example). Best solution.
