Maybe priority meant nothing at all and it was just random this time
No chance. They wouldn’t have set it up with prioritization capabilities. They fully intended on priority meaning something. Whether it does seems to be unknown.
I haven't heard of any GA priority 2 entries hitting, so j believe priority was used. Otherwise we would have heard if 2nd and 3rd priority GAs hitting
What's the deal with No. 1s and 2s missing but further down getting it for reserved, though? Did the BA option screw it up? Maybe something like it was actually GA? So it didn't hit GA and just got thrown out all together?

Fully agree. The issues seem to be isolated to reserved and BA. That said, we don’t know if some of those BA entries with lower priority picks won GA. That would really turn this place upside down.

No idea, initially when there were just a few reports, then realizations of user error, I thought that was the explanation. I don't believe the BA option screwed it up either, because it would be a lot more widespread if so.

There are things that the email don't show, like what did you put in for your TC email and did it match to the email on your TC account

priority does matter, we can't all put in for all shows, and with a "lottery" it's possible to get all the shows (or none) and we all don't have money for that.  If I put in for 4 shows and get 2 out of 4, I'm happy.  In the prioritizing information on 10C site is says, you have to have a 1st priority, even though you want to go to all of the shows you picked..There is a way they use the shows people select to try and make sure they cover as many as they can equally, across the board.  Except of course, for those that don't get any.  There are winners and non-winners in a lottery.  How they use the priority, the amount they draw at a time, which requests go into which hat, I know not...

I have great sympathy for everyone who hasn’t gotten tickets, especially those losing shows with priority 1-2 when the odds seemingly guarantee you seats.  I can’t help but think that something is going on behind the scenes though to cause that.  Whether it’s credit card issues, account or email issues, something has to be causing the issue.  It still seems like there are a very small group of people who have abnormal results, for the strong majority the lottery seems to be working as it should (as in winning 6th priority for a 99% show)

There is really no explanation for a Best Available 1st choice to lose out on the shows drawn so far other than some type of issue on the users end.  I hope everyone affected can get it resolved, but I choose to believe that Ticketmaster is running the lottery the correct way.

Well I got one show as my first choice, and zero on second show when people are reporting 5th and 6th priority for that show... since it worked for one show - my account, TM, payment and requests are all setup correctly ... this is TMs problem!

Did you possibly make any changes after your initial submission?

To me the main question is, how does anybody NOT get a best available selection with 99% odds for reserved?

If some BA entries become GA selections, shouldn't a 99% chance at reserved selection become even more guaranteed?

I think the answer can be found in incorrect odds, or customer error, or poor selection programming, or some combination thereof. The odds say that anyone selecting BA or Reserved should have gotten tickets today.

Just prior to selecting shows, I went into payment options on my Ticketmaster account and noticed an outdated cc as my default payment option and updated accordingly. Without receiving a $1/0 verification email, I’m just waiting til my show draws on Sunday. Its possible these few who have been denied shows have outdated cc’s as their payment option. I’m glad I caught it myself.

And when you resubmitted, did you resubmit both shows or just one?

It really means nothing until your selected shows are chosen and they go in to attempt to charge your cc - nothing mattered prior to that occurring.  I also believe if selected, and your card doesn't work, they'd contact you to remit payment.  They are also going to use the cc you supplied when you made your entry....
