Anyone looking to grab some drinks while avoiding the Orioles & Yankees crowds I'd suggest Mount Royal Tavern. A fine establishment that isn't too far away. We had a good gathering there year ago before Ed played solo at the Lyric Opera House.
anywhere north of the inner harbor will be less busy lots of nice/good places within 6-10 blocks of Royal Farms Area. West Madison Craft Beer & Wine bar, Mick O Sheas, Connies Chicken and Waffles, Mrs. Carters Kitchen to name a few
Baltimore is about 18k capacity. The venue is old. Seats are a bit uncomfortable but the sound is great. And from the view of a fan of music in general the history of musicians that have performed here is awesome. The 2013 PJ show has been one of my all time favorite shows there And being local to Baltimore, I have to admit it is a little bit of a bummer to not have a Philly show this leg.

...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...
Crazy things happen in all cities and we're still excited for the trip. Stay safe everyone and bring on the shows!
Baltimore is fine. There are certainly rough patches and streets/areas to avoid. Use good judgement. Stay out of of the blue light areas and the projects and you’ll be fine.

Per the venue website:
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Arena has 11,100 permanent seats (3 levels in a horseshoe shape) facing a 59’ deep x 117’ wide x 42’ high permanent proscenium stage.
My inlaws live in Baltimore. My son, like his old man, is a hardcore Yankees fan. I take him to several home games a year, and we always talk about going to a game at Camden, so when the tour dates firmed up and I saw there was a 4 o'clock game that day just down the street from the venue, it seemed too good to pass up. So I put the wheels in motion, my plan being to drive down on Friday night, go to the baseball game with my family & inlaws, then ditch them at the end of the game to meet my buddies for the show.
So now I've struck out on PJ tickets, but everyone from my son to my friends to my mother-in-law is excited about this plan (they obviously don't care about whether or not I make it into the concert). And one of my buddies pulled a pair in the lottery, but since I hit on MSG it's only fair that others get first dibs on his second ticket.
So I'm committed to be down in Baltimore that weekend, and will at least be at the baseball game. Going to be a real bummer if I have to head back home with the family at 7 while my friends head off to the Pearl Jam show. I'm not holding out much hope for a ticket drop, but hopefully I'll be able to pull off some magic on the fan exchange.
is this show cancelled? Heard a few people on Facebook report that it was. Hope not and since Pearl Jam hasn't officially said anything yet, hoping that it isn't

Sounds like fans with ADA seats have been refunded already as their seats are from the venue vs. Ticketmaster. Expect announcement is forthcoming. Sucks.
So sad reading the excitement in the January 2020 posts.
It really is. I read the Quebec post start to finish a couple of months ago and that was a lot of fun.
Sad to hear about this Baltimore news. Hope those that are in the area or have great tickets can get first dibs on something close for the rumoured fall tour coming.

Lol, I did the same thing. It is sad to look back at all the excitement and knowing what’s about to happen.

Yep. That lined up perfectly. Was so pumped to finally go to Camden Yards. This all seems like an eternity ago.
Don’t let that stop you! Plenty of yankee fans make the trip to Camden yards every year. You get a great ballpark and a fun atmosphere without the Wall Street prices.

This. I took my younger daughter out of school for the day in 2019 and we drove down for the day from NJ to see the Yankees. Had a great time and had her back in time for soccer practice that night.
