I can tell you for sure that any event, no matter what, at Starplex (smirnoff/superpages.com center) will bring out all the mulleted rednecks. That's one culture that is hard to embrace, in fact, it's a big turnoff if that's one of your impressions of the city.

Yet they always seem to play Jersey and NY which IMO is filled with far worse Douchebags than the redneck circuit could ever bring forth

    So true.

    How about:

    Lack of good public transportation
    Our intolerance towards immigrants
    Rick Perry
    Hogging the Ogallala Acquier
    Too many guns
    Our craptacular school system
Religious nuts (I'm looking at you, crazy pedophiles over there in West TX)

As a percent of the population I would say they probably have a smaller number of fans. Also, they tend to like to go to places that are cold and wet :)

  • I was really hoping to see them included in the ACL line-up. I guess this means that there really is no chance of catching them this year. If they keep this up, the only people that will go see them are the people that followed the Grateful Dead endlessly.
