Hoping some arena shows can happen this year just do not see it possible yet until outdoor fests happen this summer and fall.

I guess the NBA and NHL will be the litmus test on what is allowed to happen indoors and as of right now they are expecting full attendance. Of course that can change.

Please schedule the US dates for the fall and require secure proof of vaccination to enter. Anti-vaxxers can get their money back and do something else - they have the right to not go see Pearl Jam.

I doubt we see arena shows here in the US for the fall/winter.  I think best case is they add a few outdoor shows while the weather cooperates and then resume in the early spring of 2022 with the arena dates.

It's sad seeing those European postponed dates reserved in 2022 and bubkiss, no reserved anything for their North American dates. :(
Don't stop thinking about tomorrow.  Don't stop, it'll soon be here.  It'll be better than before.
    Can't wait!  :)

Says in article that the city of Boston has not approved, but the Red Sox announced the rescheduled dates for their summer concert series postponed in 2020. Starts this July and runs through September.

I can’t get into this article but I saw someone post something the other day regarding concerts at Fenway this year but the capacity was limited to a certain amount of people

Interesting since these shows have been pretty much sold out for over a year now.

4 shows in 5 nights in August - GNR, Billy Joel, Green Day, Lady Gaga.  None are PJ but that would be a heckuva way to return to live music!

Saw that too.I always thought Fenway would not allow back to backs and thats why Pearl Jam had to have the night off between shows.

I know they have postponed shows they have to make up but I wonder if they are looking at these ballpark shows in Aug/Sep if thats all they are allowed to do along with festivals.

If Fenway was going for a limited capacity they are going about it the wrong way which leads me to believe that they are going with a full capacity.

All of the shows I checked are still selling some tickets, If they were going to refund people and limited the capacity I would imagine they would at least start with not selling anymore tickets.

That said its a business and they will sell as many as they can right now until the government of MA tells them they can go or not go or go with a certain attendance.

Wrigley is in the same boat. They've rescheduled concerts that were sold before COVID for this summer, starting mid-July.

135k at Indy 500.  I get its 40% capacity but thats a TON of people in one spot regardless.

45k for the Kentucky Derby. 15k in the infield which would be equivalent to a shed.

    Looking good for fall.

Yeah, not sure how this became a news item today, these are all rescheduled 2020 shows and have been on the Red Sox website all along.
Its almost like some reporter suddenly looked at the link for the Fenway concert series and thought he had a big scoop. Its old news and still not official that these shows will be allowed to proceed.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Mcgruff is close friends with McCready and gets to see all of the pics.

Pretty sure Clinch took this pic a month ago.

PJ just tweeted a pic of Mike from Worcester, MA. I've been thinking the next shows will be a fall tour after SHN/Ohana of new dates. Hmmm...

    😂

I’ve appreciated your optimism that these show might happen without ever suggesting the band should ignore safety.  I have a good feeling for the fall, at least for being outdoors. Fingers are crossed it comes to fruition.

Same with you man. Optimism and thinking this is a hoax and things should flip back like the above light switch are two different things for sure. Hope you are right about the fall.
