  • I’m assuming your security code is your seniority number? Mine was low 12xxxx and wife’s was 65xxxx
No, it's just a random number
What makes you so sure? I’m not saying the numbers are correlated to your Tenclub number, but talked to a few other members and the later they joined the higher their presale number

You do realize that if you do not get GA Floor for SD and LA, you will not get any tickets

It is pretty simple - they are not drawing based on GA first and then Res; rather, they are drawing an entry (hopefully mine for example), and looking at my choice.  I chose Best Available option; therefore, if there are any GA tickets left, i would get two of those, if not, I get two reserved seating.  My seats would then later be assigned based on my seniority number.  Had I only chosen GA, and all of the GA tix were gone when my entry got pulled, I would be out of luck.

Its really the same when you are in one of those fast 10AM Ticketmaster sales, always go Best Available if you want in the building.  If you have to be somewhere in particular, take the time to pick out a certain level while the bots eat up all the tickets.  My $0.02, I will be interested to see how it works out, but I really like this new system.
I think there is logic in your 2 cents.

Correct. I'd prefer to only travel 3,000 miles if I am guaranteed floor tickets. I also have friends that did best available as well that are going.

Damn, MSG is already at 13% for GA

    On it's way to 0.00000001%
I wouldn't be shocked if it hits <1%.  I doubt we get any more of a specific number than that
It should if everyone chooses best available. Makes total sense.

I know it's early but all odds are still at 99%. How many friggin' tickets did they earmark for the Club?
If you click into the venue info, the odds for GA is much lower in most cases.

This is my first ticket drawing. Put in for St Louis as it is the only show close enough due to financial and work PTO reasons. I put in for best available so I’m excited to see how it goes!!

I guess it's possible?  I think I dismissed it so quickly knowing that wasn't my 10C number. And now that I think more about it, they do have to track seniority in a way for the reserved selections.  You might be right.  Sorry about that.

serious question, for anyone who submitted for NA and Canada, did you get separate confirmation emails?  Just don't want to accidentally delete my us request.

Coolest thing about this is that we actually know where the fuck we will sit before the day of the damn show.

Your tickets will be viewable in late January; you will receive a separate notification via email.

And....with the fan transfer/selling option you can try to upgrade or downgrade your reserved seats if they are available.
It's an interesting question - Can you buy tickets on the exchange if you already have tickets?

Example: I get drawn for a GA pair in Baltimore. Can I buy another GA pair on the exchange?
I assume this is what they mean by 10c will be monitoring all sales on the exchange. For one, I do not think if you already have tickets linked to your account that you will be able to buy more. They have always limited you to 2 and there’s no reason to think they will just open up the flood gates and let people buy as many as they want now.

I also think they will limit the amount of times you can buy. You can’t sit there and keep buying and selling 10 times to get better seats and abuse the system. I would like to think there will be a limit of times you can buy, and times you can sell.

That’s all speculation but I’m betting it will be heavily restricted and enforced and for good reason.

I live near Toronto so I put in for Toronto and Hamilton which should be locks because....

Community wise the tour announcement was met with a big yawn. More excitement about Post Malone and Zac Brown Band who will be in Toronto in Feb and March.

Emailed the Ten Club Ticketmaster customer service.

Looks like they are going to randomly draw from all entries, if your choice is still available, you get it, if not, you don't. So not doing GA first then Reserved like they used to do. I've sent a follow-up email to confirm that GA is always considered Best available.

    Email text below

Thank you for getting back with us today. We are happy to address your concerns. Orders will not be processed based on seat selections. Requests will be randomly selected to have tickets processed. Once your request is selected, you will be granted the best available tickets based on what you've selected. For your request we do show you've selected only the GA Pit option. Once your request is selected to be processed, we will only process the order if GA Pit is still available at that time and you will only be granted that type of ticket. Fans will be notified by Sunday, January 19 if tickets were granted.
This is the only negative I see with this new system.  Kinda sucks for people that really love/hate GA, but it is what it is.

Again, I'm sure people will figure out ways to swap with each other.  It's just a 1:1 trade.  Shouldn't be that hard to figure out.

Just walk in with each other and swap phones if you need to until the GA person gets their wrist band.  The other pair just go to where the seats are.  Done and done.
If you hate GA you shouldn't put in for it. There is no chance that someone who puts in for Best Available, gets drawn and the only thing left is GA
There's zero confirmation from 10C that someone who puts in for Reserved Seating, and gets their number drawn early in the lottery which would equate to GA, will end up still getting Reserved SEating.

you're the only one who can forgive yourself oh yeah...

If you want to get in the building and want reserved and not GA do not pick GA or best available. It does not help your odds out at all and only hurts people that want GA's odds.
Has 10 C confirmed that someone who has RS chosen as their only option, is drawn very early in the lottery, will still get RS?  Totally different lottery system this time around with a different vendor.

The new system is interesting.   Rather than people having to make calculated guesses, it lets people put in for ga/reserved without having to bump it to a 2nd preference.   There were a number complains on the previous tours where someone would go reserved show 1/reserved show 2, and would get tickets before the person who tried ga show 1/reserved show 1.   This should eliminate that issue of people being able to get tickets to a show as their 2nd choice before someone who chose that show as their 1st choice.

The downside is they removed that risk of choosing GA, now more people will opt to try and get , making GA hard to get?

Yeah, I hope so. I suppose they could set a max of 2 tickets per account. Will be interesting to see how the mechanics play out.

Anyone know how often the odds update? I know in previous years it was every 5 minutes. Not sure if it's the same this time or not.

It's funny because this option would probably be best for me in possibly a couple of the shows I put in but in my excitement just went with a pair for all. So hopefully my wife can get off and we can find childcare for all of them! I'm not too worried. Will figure something out if selected.
