Good. One less person to steal the spotlight from Pete.

Warren's M4A plan is out. Its confusing because it refers to the total current cost at both $52 trillion (10 years) and the study Biden cites ($34T)

It seems to claim it will cut the cost from 34T to 20. That seems like a reach. It also calls for another 3% wealth tax (6% total). No way the wealthy are going to hand over 6% of their wealth EVERY year. There will be an employer payroll tax that approximates what they currently pay to healthcare. Employees would no longer pay premiums so that cash would go directly to our paychecks and be taxed.

Yeah I noticed those numbers yesterday as well.  The most reputable number is 34 trillion yet she builds a plan goal seeking to 20 trillion.  They just seem to waive away 14 trillion as far as I can tell, through "efficiencies" and other classic corporate speak that you report to the board when you have no idea how to get to a number.  Maybe I'm being overly cynical, but I just don't see how you can rationally get there without raising real revenue through the people.

No she's providing cover and protection to her moderate members.  She's serving as an appropriate counter voice to the socialist wing.  This is deliberate and appropriate.

    Troubling news.

One Year From Election, Trump Trails Biden but Leads Warren in Battlegrounds

Signs that the president’s advantage in the Electoral College has persisted or even increased since 2016

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/04/upshot/trump-biden-warren-polls.html#click=https://t.co/lOTo3Vx8cc

In the daily podcast they talked about how voters in these swing states take issue with the possibility of a woman president.

There’s just something about her that I just don’t like,” she said. “I just don’t feel like she’s a genuine candidate. I find her body language to be very off-putting. She’s very cold. She’s basically a Hillary Clinton clone.”

As for female presidential candidates in general, she said, “They’re super unlikable.”

Troubling indeed. I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that deep-seated sexism would be a problem for Warren, and it makes me so mad I don't even what to address it.

All the candidates have their issues with likability or electability. Biden’s ageism, homophobia against Pete ect. She ain’t out of it yet and is polling well against Trump in other polls.

Yeah, people suck. I also understand your concern. I’m sure I have a little sexism in myself, but I would never not vote for someone based on gender. IDK, Hillary won nomination and got more votes for president, so while sexism will always be a problem, I don’t know that this is the exact reason Warren will or won’t be successful.

Yes and he was a terrible mayor imo.  We need another guy in his late 70's running?  And yet another billionaire that has no clue what real life is like for the majority of america.

Obviously none of them (although I felt Obama did for some reason).   Being so close to nyc I would read about Bloomberg everyday in the news and quickly disliked him.
