How’s about them Pats! 4 INTs and 4 sacks on the way to a shut out victory. Gotta like it! The two games against Buffalo should be really fun to watch. Mac n Cheese is doing just fine, for a rookie. Just needs to stay healthy. And I’m really liking the balanced attack on offense. Finally.
we were all hoping the pats would suck for more than one season.

I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a regular season this much… I loved the last 5 years of Brady (‘til 2019), but the regular season games weren’t must see tv.
This year is appointment viewing.

Cmon Man! The Hoodie was never going to allow that to happen. This is the best coached team in the NFL and it isn’t even close
I will grudgingly agree with that.

Without Covid they probably got a wildcard birth last year. This with Cam, who let’s face it, is not an NFL-calibre starting QB any longer. He is better than PJ Walker I’m sure, but he’s nothing more than a stop-gap measure for the Panthers at this point.

and I absolutely cannot understand the love for that motherfucker….the ultimate self promoter and his petulant, whiny post SB loss press conference soured me on him forever.

Everything I needed to know about him was a fumble in the SuperBowl. He made a “business decision” as PrimeTime would say. I couldn’t believe what I saw. Looked at my buddy and said, guy is not a winner.
So Belichick has just broken the NFL. Two running backs go for 100? Fine, we will let you have that and win by 23. How is that even possible? Coaching, teaching players how to create turnovers.
Tannehill was their best player on offence and they weren’t going to let him beat them.
Now are they happy the run D was gashed? I’m absolutely certain they weren’t. But they played that way to ensure Tannehill couldn’t beat them through the air. And even after running 70+ yds on a drive to the NE 5yd line, BB knew they would throw. He just knew they wouldn’t be able to help themselves.
they took buffalo’s lunch money. the way NE was running the ball, I don’t know how they only scored 14.

Mac's gonna need to throw them to a win at some point in January, that's when we'll see what he's truly made of.
This is a fair point, but did anybody honestly believe this team was going to make the playoffs at 2-4? I’m the most optimistic spots fan (so think my Canucks can still make the NHL playoffs) but I had my doubts. They have a rookie QB way ahead of schedule and has never even seen snow before lol.
The same things were being said about TB12 in 2001. Back then I remember just feeling that once they got rolling they were going to get to the big dance. I’m having that same feeling again…
The “rebuild” is still ahead of schedule. 10-7 or 11-6 with a rookie qb? The future is bright. The AFC is wide open… fix those mental errors and they could make some noise. 👍
No one on the defence made a play today. Couple of weeks to right the ship!
First four games of the season are just an extension of the preseason. Watching the highlights, wow there was a lot of bad football. The overall product is suffering.
BB and the boys will get it turned around. Cut down on the turnovers… create a few of your own. Recipe is pretty simple.
Let's see where we're at in October. I have no visions of them making a deep January run, but I'm also hard pressed to see them regress to the tune of 5 more losses from last year.
And week 18 vs buffalo, unless they’re going for 17-0
Nice draft pick comin tho

Look at their schedule and tell me which games you are confident they will win.
I see Detroit, Chicago and the 2 Jets games as games they'll likely be favored in.

Teams are still feeling things out in September... we don't know shit until October at best. Predicting outcomes for November & December based on one game seems silly to me.
I'm not basing things on yesterday. I'm looking at their personnel compared with the personnel of their opponents as well as how they looked in the preseason. I don't see anything to be optimistic about.

Cool, to each his own.
Personally I base even less on what I see in the preseason than I do on week 1. I think we're going to see a much different team these next 3-4 games than we saw last month.
I'm going to at least give them a few games as a 53 man unit before I declare a max 4 or 5 win season.

Exactly. Doesn’t fly in todays “hot take” world. I wouldn’t overreact to a preseason game that counts in the standings.
Everyone (seemingly) thinks the team is awful… still own the Steelers. Beautiful.
People need to turn off the sports talk shows & ignore the contrived anger from people who get paid to get reactions out of their audience.
Yesterday was a fun one.. any day you can go to Pittsburgh & get a win is a good day. Not the prettiest game, there were a lot of penalties, and Mac lucked the f out on a bad throw that should have been an easy pick... still in all, I'm enjoying the hell out of watching to see if / how Belichick can rebuild this team.

Did I count the offensive play calls properly? 54 running plays to 3 passing plays? THREE passing plays????
Any dicks on the field?
