As entertaining a game between two bad football teams can get!
Love the Pats... loved them at 1-15... love them now. All the bandwagon jumpers that have climbed on over the past 20 years don’t hurt yourself when you jump!
Quality win for the pats. Win out and make the playoffs at 11-5. One can hope.
Doubt they can win out, they have a dreaded 3 game road trip, and in NFL history teams playing their 3rd straight road game lose 169% of the time. I think they can end up 9-7, and possibly get a shot the bogus 7th seed if a few things break their way, but its a long shot.

Still had more yards in half a quarter than Cam had in a half. No O line and no receivers doesn’t help but that was a pathetic showing. Need a few rebuilding years. Got your Buffalo flag yet?
I will never shovel dirt on the patriots until Bill belichick is triple tapped and chained to concrete at the bottom of the ocean. I will always have nightmares and need therapy for the past 20 years.
But... you have to wonder if he can turn new England around again. Interpersonally, there is no appeal for players. The days of rock solid control likening to the days of George Halas and Lombardi are done. Good coaches now aren't only smart and adaptable... they know how to respect players and their staff as individuals. When they are perpetually winning and have an inside track to a superbowl, players will buy in and maybe even play at a discount for a title. When they aren't winning? Who wants to play for that grump? You have to wonder if all those opt-outs aren't bad luck, but a symptom of how difficult life is under belichick. I wonder if the drive of Brady created an environment of accountability and a glue that meshed with belichick's iron fist program.
I could see belichick getting a lot of good value defensive players and scheming his way to 6-10 wins the next few seasons. Or not. He has been pretty abysmal at drafting in recent years. Outside of a few pesky Rex Ryan years, belichick has never experienced AFCE opponents as formidable as Miami and Buffalo appear to be. Through the dynasty, new England could count on 4-6 easy division wins by default.

Belichick has been uncharacteristically effusive with his praise for Cam Newton all season despite the obvious fact (to anyone with eyes) that Cam is pretty much cooked. I don't think that is a coincidence. Cam has reciprocated the praise and been a model citizen for the team and has said all the right things. I think they have a deal and each is using the other to get their image rehabilitated. Folks don't think Bill treated Brady with the respect he earned and just treated him like 1 out of 53, so now he is going above and beyond to treat Cam better than he seems to be deserving of, I think its to plant seeds for the future that NE is not that miserable of a place to play.
losing record before Brady...losing record after Brady. Must just be a coincidence
lol
don't like facts and numbers huh? i speak the truth. dynasty was because they had the greatest QB of all time. nothing wrong with admitting that.
I just posted an article detailing how the NE Defense set a record for points allowed in SB 53, and I'm the one who doesn't like facts or numbers?
To answer your original question, yes, You can now say all the success was Brady. You can also expect people who have half a clue to laugh at you when you make that statement.

How do you explain Bill's losing record before and after Brady? And yes they had an unbelievable defensive game in SB 53 and a putrid one in SB 52 against a backup QB. Is your point that a dominant performance in SB 53 somehow means the greatest 20 year run in NFL history was because of that one game? The greatest run in NFL history came about because they had the greatest QB in history. Why is this hard to understand or admit?
Playing for Bill is “work.” Playing for Bill is not “fun.” TB12 got tired of the grind of “work” and not having “fun,” as did Gronk, plus felt dissed after catching wind of him being floated for a trade in 2017. I don’t blame him for leaving but at the end of the day, the NFL is a business and playing the game is “work” and not meant to be “fun.” I’m hopeful for a Bill lead Pats against a Brady lead TB super bowl at some point in the future. Cam is toast.

You sound like someone who didn't see a single Patriots game from '01 - '04.
Go ahead, keep telling people it was all Brady. Expect people to keep laughing at you.
