Anyone in the midwest has heard about her, they unfortunately found her dead.
And the person charged is in the country illegally, this is going to cause a shitstorm.

I'm not saying there is anything to the Iowa rumour ... but police do a shitty job of investigating issues surrounding females.
The point has been made that police aren’t always on the ball im these cases, which is true. However, if there was truth to the rumours about large numbers of missing young women then there would have to have been official reports made, or how would the news about missing persons become public?
In the case of the Iowa rumours they are just that.
Most of the "disappeared girls" are runaways and or return home on their own which is not reported.
Its so obvious it's ridiculous
I didn't know she was a mother. Thanks for the info.

The Rs nasty little secret is that they never before supported deporting undocumented immigrants because these people keep their businesses staffed and wages low.
Perhaps we can have a civil discussion about this after the alleged criminal candidate is indicted.

It's not like there was a link from Breitbart or Fox on some conspiracy. Republicans are politicizing this incident as much as D's politicize every gun shooting that occurs in this country. Why can't we care about both issues?
So, we're back to vendettas and mob rule? An eye for an eye? Wonderful models for a justice system; in fact, one of the few things that would make the American justice system worse than it already is.
Edit: For the record, these sentiments would apply if he was an American citizen as well.
A town I used to live in had a triple murder in 1992, that scum now has day parole, which is one step closer to complete parole...

I would prefer that a competent justice system decide on guilt vs. innocence, and if guilty, what the outcome is. I don't think the individual feelings of the loved ones have any part in either of those decisions, in a truly just system. Leaving the decisions up to family will, first, put a huge burden on them, and second, ensure that there is absolutely no consistency, predictability or accountability. There are good reasons why civilized societies moved away from vendettas.
Sad for the parents, and for the victim.
