The profanity in front of the children thing made me laugh.

5 pages in this thread and I think I only saw one post mentioning Stone so far.  To me, he was the MVP on Saturday night - absolutely on fire.  His solos were probably the best I've ever seen/heard him play.
I thought Stone sounded awesome too. But did anyone notice how he exited the stage super fast before the first break (I’m pretty sure it was the first)?  He had his guitar off before the song was even over and jetted quickly.

Yeah I enjoyed that. As soon as they hit the first big ending note on RVM (I think), he pulled his guitar off and handed it to a tech. Grabbed a bottle of water and drank. Then stood there clapping for the rest of the band as they made a big finish. Guy is so cool and doesn't even try.

His lead in Rockin was great. Not For You as well. Too many to name. He was as great as ever! They all were.

    I'm speechless!

This is my 3rd GA show (Wrigley 2016 N1 + Missoula 2018 just a few days ago) and for the 3rd time, Ed came to me during Porch! I thought it was luck the first time; questioned if he remembered me the 2nd time. This time, however, totally intentional. Lightning strikes thrice! He came down the front of the stage and walked directly to me and held his hand out where I helped him get on top of the actual rail and held his hand the entire time!

What else is there to say but that? Even getting rail for the first time was overshadowed by that. So incredible! So amazing! So fortunate!

Great show.  Was third off the rail directly in front of Mike.  Everyone in the vicinity couldn't have been more pleasant to be around.  They really made the show enjoyable.  Met some cool people in line and we stayed together for the duration.  Cheers to those around us, and these quality people that really made it such a great experience.  Hope we meet again at a show.

Great show! Really enjoyed the set - Breakerfall, HAIL HAIL, Garden, Footsteps - SOLAT - Breath (WOW!), ALONE!! Only complaints: Know Your Rights after Breath (placement was off, IMO) and the crowd in our section was meh.
All in all, really enjoyed this show. It seems to be getting heavily overshadowed by Monday’s show.

  • I can’t wait for this boot!! What an incredible show! Getaway should get played way more. Missing was, personally, a really special moment. Not many people there seemed to know it, but that will change. And such a great performance.

I’m a big fan of the Clash, but honestly, after hearing it on many boots before, I never really cared to hear Know Your Rights at a show. Not my favorite song of theirs even tho PJ does it justice. Wow! I was really wrong. Good example of how different a song can be in a certain context - especially when you’re at a show and it’s played at that perfect moment! Ed was seriously channeling Joe Strummer. I could feel the vinegar in his veins from where I stood.

I cant believe we’re at a point where we are tributing Strummer, Petty, Bowie and Cornell. But it sure meant a lot to me to be there for those songs. For someone I never met, I still think of Chris often. I’m grateful that this band knows it’s fans well enough to know that we’re missing him along with them. And that a PJ show might actually be one of the few places where the rest of us can share in that grieving and let it be about healing and celebrating these artists that have meant so much to us all. It doesn’t compare to their own loss, having been so close with many of these guys, but I hope they know that these moments have a lot of meaning for many of us. Hearing Chris’ songs played before they took the stage, seeing Nudedragons and the Cornell Starbucks shirt in the audience, and especially having them play one of his songs... Chris’ presence was everywhere that night. I hope Matt, Jeff, Stone, Ed and Mike were at least a little bit healed and uplifted by that, as I was.

After the show we met two gentlemen who got this setlist from the soundboard. They let us get a photo with it. I’m curious if they’re in here somewhere? I’d love so much to have a scanned copy of this to print and frame. This show impacted my entire family on so many levels, just to have a good scanned copy of this (or a similar one with edits) would mean so much. Thanks to all and much love from my family to yours.

i just love this song. The Poncier version suffers only from being unfinished, but it is so great. The Temple version was amazing. And the PJ version is just fire! So thankful they've given this song new life!

Listening to this boot now.  I still can't get over how bizarre the whole Dennis Rodman thing was.
