^ Their bottles are so fancy.  The BH looks like a fancy belt buckle. Haha.  Solid bourbon though. Never had the rye.

Yes but you call it Rye and not Whiskey.

See what I mean?  This is what drives me nuts...

RVW calls it Rye too, so all y'all can shut it.

I've had their other Rye and it was really good.  Never had a "rum finish".

I had the 23 year, it was just ok. Incredibly oaky, and nowhere near worth that price. The 23 Year was $99 I think.

I probably wouldn’t have spent the money on this one but I missed out this year on the draws for some of the other bourbons that were offered.
And the price you see is in Canadian dollars so it would be around $120-$130 USD. Still not a cheap but I would have spent more if I Won the draw. So it was a good excuse for me to get this one lol.

Slipknot, Metallica, Pearl Jam and Connor McGregor all have bourbons or whiskey now.  Am I missing any groups?

    Pearl Jam?

I got the Metallica one as part of a Whiskey club thing.  It is not bad at all.  Clearly a gimmick.

That said, I am 100% buying the Ron Swanson Lagavulin

How can you forget Drake and his Virginia black whiskey.
Which by the way is just like his music bland and no taste

We went out for my father in law's 70th bday a few weeks ago and after dinner we ended up at this swanky upscale bar/restaurant.  My father in law started talking about all the scotch's they had at the bar and eluded to the fact that the Macallen 18 year is one of his favorites.  When he went to the bathroom I ordered him one and myself a tito's/club; he came back and was happy about the drink but pissed that i had spent money on him (old school Italian).  I got the bill and it was $44 for his drink, is that normal or way overpriced?  I know nothing about scotch.

    It’s not outrageous. It’s approaching a $200 bottle probably

My guess is you won't be drinking Louis anytime soon.  $250 for an ounce...

    Yes I have.  I once owned 4 bottles, I now have 2.

I'm sure there are a few of us on here that have tried it?

I've been blessed to have the 23yo Pappy and a 20yo Jameson.  I've tried Antique collection Weller, which is one of my favorites.

I have multiple bottles of 25yo rum from Guyana that I brought back w me from Barbados thinking that I'd never see it again.  I'm still searching for a bottle of Mt Gay Tricentennial at a good price...
