I thought the same thing at 1st, but running a separate lottery for dates so close to one another, so like unneeded, extra work.  In 16, you have the spring tour and the stadiums were 3-4 months later.  You could be right though.

If the leaked dates are accurate, they have a 12 day break between Chi and Bos. Any hope for another east coast show in that slot leading up to Fenway?

My plan as of now is to go to both shows in Seattle and the Wrigley show on the 18th.  Can I enter the drawing for all 3 of these shows?  Never done one of these before so thanks for any help!

I just booked 4 rooms at all the hotels on PJ’s special rate Seattle list.  When they sell out I’m going to charge a fee to whoever needs a room to switch it to their name.

Read the fine print and make sure they do not have the right to raise the price on you. Fenway they do according to what event is going on.

Hopefully and I imagine you're just joking.  Obviously, Ten Club doesn't take kindly to that sort of stuff and trying to take advantage of/profit off of other members within the community is, uh, not acceptable.

I remember a guy on the Ratdog board years ago tried to pull that shit.

Ended with a spectacular and hilarious failure. People still joke about it.

Jesus Christ hotels in Seattle with "group rate" discounts are insane. Pearl Jam have basically turned in to a destination event with their concerts. People traveling to them instead of the other way around and dropping $1500+ on a hotel stay alone. The Silver Cloud "official" hotel for these concerts, I originally thought it was $449 for 3 nights! Ha!

Flight to Missoula on a 24 hour hold, hotel booked.  Was a great show in 2012 and the town has a great vibe!   Should I pull the trigger trigger on the flight with or without an announcement tomorrow?  What odds are we playing that the Aug13th will hold??
I think the date will probably hold, but may not hear by tomorrow. Who knows though. I can’t really see flights being an issue to get, so I’m waiting until I actually get tickets. I’m thinking this show will be very hard to get tickets for.
There are like 35,000 seats including the field. There will be plenty of tickets for those that put it as a first and second priority especially if it is in the same draw as Safeco.
Oh wow. Thanks for clarification. I must have misunderstood what I read about seating capacity. I understood it to be much smaller. That definitely alleviates some stress. Thanks.
Attendance for McCartney in 2014 was 25,192...I find it hard to believe they'll squeeze in another 10k
How can that be? You mean the show in July of 2013? The capacity of Safeco is around 48,000 and the field was full. I was there and it was totally packed (other than the outfield seats behind the stage). Seattle Weekly said 45,000 attended which would make sense (less rear outfield seats plus on-field seating).

They're talking about the McCartney show in Missoula, MT. Not his show at Safeco Field.

That's what I think. Plus, this is their first time doing a show in the summer since the 90s. Maybe since the 1998 Yield Tour? All the Seattle shows after that have been in the fall or dead of winter. Add to the fact there will be traveling fans in the middle of travel season, I think it will sell out just as quickly as the others.

i really hope this doesn't become a trend and we still get proper arena tours.  Not everyone can afford to travel across the country for these destination shows.  I'd love to make it to the Seattle shows but it's just not in the cards for me this year.  And my brother lives there so I'd have free lodging.
