It's a goddamn tragedy that Pok Pok NY closed. Best wings I've ever had.

Are those Korean fried chicken wings? Those are always so good - usually double fried. There is a Korean place in my neighborhood called Mono Mono that has amazing wings - both spicy ones and sweet ones. Haven't had them in a while, but saw they were open for takeout and outside dining. May have to stop by there.
    Ike's Vietnamese fish sauce wings.

But those twice-fried Korean wings are hot fire, too. Bonchon was closer to me.

100% agree for non buffalo style. So good and not that easy to duplicate.

    Pork shoulder Ragu with Pappardelle.

That looks delicious. I am not a big pasta eater, but I would tear into that.

Eggs and beans (garbanzos in sauce), and more beans (garden green).

It was a big food weekend for us, the chickens finally started laying, the first of the bush beans and new potatoes came in, and the last of the peas got pickled!
I made stuffed zucchini boats and banana cheesecake pie with blueberry topping, but I didn't get any pictures.

    Dinner tonight^^^
Made soup with the beans and new potatoes, some kohlrabi leaves, and onions...all from the garden.  Ham hock from the pig we got in May.  Looking forward to it!
    Beautiful. Love the basket

Hell, mcgruff...given my recent culinary failures, I'm no chef!  Good luck to her though.

Quick question as I couldn't find anything online - if I want to make a creamy (pink) pasta sauce, can I use Mocha Mix instead of cream or will that ruin the flavor?

Went to an outside dinner with a friend tonight. It was his bday in March and I finally got to take him out for a bday dinner. Had lamb chops, really good fries, and Israeli salad. Brought home 1/2 for leftovers tomorrow.
