President Trump which for arguments sake has far more powerful consequences w/ his spoken words than the N. Korea leader for now.
The relentless AMT toilet humour, SNL Spicer humour, small hands (insert any physical trait humour for that matter here) against the current administration is completely null and voiding any serious points one is making about N. Korea being a real threat.

How about talking to them? Nixon went to china after all. But the US has to have a boogie man to keep us all afraid. Not to say NK is not a threat nor it'll be easy. But the alternative is a down right nightmare of a disaster. And Trump's bluster ain't got nothing because the US is not going to, "act alone" or start a war on the Korean Peninsula.

Trump still has small hands and likely a small dick too.

I wonder what the POTUS could launch if he really wants to.

Spicer is not the guy to focus on.
Your President is saying the USA will take care of N. Korea alone if need be.
Pretty strong statement from the golf course.

Do you not understand that the press secretary is a direct line to the president. Be represents the president in EVERY WAY. The fact that Trump has not publicly said anything against what Spicer said says a lot. It says Trump is ok with Spicer saying idiotic and untrue things. So yes, we can focus on spicer.

so ... are his supporters ok with recent news that he will spend more on travel in his first year in office than obama did in 8 years combined? ... or the fact he's basically spent the winter in florida at his resort? ...

For sure. I think the real Trump supporters don't have to work to overlook or justify what he does and all his lying and hypocrisy and grossness, and I don't think they are simply ignorant to it. I think they LIKE it, and that is why they're die hard supporters. The bigger a lying creep Trump is, the more his supporters like and admire him, because these supporters are complete creeps as well. Birds of a feather flock together.

I think those travel expense estimates of $3M per trip are bogus. It should just be fuel and maintenance cost and some general expenses. All pilots, secret service, etc are getting paid a salary whether flying or not so it's a sunk cost.

I'm more concerned that he isn't at the White House making decisions on policy and (wait a second ... hmmm ...)

Maybe we should be encouraging Trump to take more vacations!

It just shows the complete hypocrisy and double standard most republicans live by. When the right ran out of shit to complain about Obama, they bitched about the amount of vacations he took. Now it's ok. They do t care that they spend $15 million a weekend on his Florida trips.

    Ouch.

There's likely your fair share of the 'complete creep' variety of Trump supporters, but I think there's way more of the 'simple bastard' variety though.

    * I love watching Trump supporters- that are capable of stringing sentences together- slowly and carefully choosing their words now as they implement their exit strategies: they don't want to gulp down crow... they just want to nibble a wee little bit at a time trying to save face.

I don't know. I've certainly read quotes and listened to interviews with "regular" Trump supporters who like the way he's shifty with the truth and love his bombastic style. They persist in seeing it as anti-PC, "stick it to the man" defiance. Too bad they can't see past his shtick to see how much he really is of "the man", with his inherited wealth and his "screw the little guy" business practices.

    Fake news or?

Some of it is incredibly biased.

"In December, the group's president, Tom Fitton, said Obama had engaged in "notorious abuse of presidential travel perks" and called on Trump to overhaul presidential travel.

But with seven Mar-a-Lago visits in less than three months, is Trump guilty of the same thing? Fitton says he doesn't think so but added, "It's not what we expected from him, given his criticism of Obama.""

    That's flat out ridiculous.

A point that is ignored by people who want to downplay this issue is the taxpayer costs that are saved by local municipalities that aren't incurred when the POTUS (and his family) lives and works at the White House.
Melania and Baron are costing taxpayers, both federally and locally, millions by living in New York, millions that wouldn't be spent if they lived in the White House where they belong.
The costs to travel to Florida nearly every weekend are absolutely above and beyond what is reasonable, AND NONE OF THAT EVEN TOUCHES THE FACT THAT HE IS GETTING TENS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN SELF-ENRICHING ADVERTISEMENT FOR HIS BRAND.

    It is unprecedented and disgusting.

Hey, I don't disagree with you, all frivolous spending on the taxpayer dime is disgusting. But, the fact that news agencies have been spouting out bogus numbers does not help their credibility much either...especially in a time where the term "fake news" is being thrown out all over the place. There are especially plenty around the AMT that are so blinded by their hate for Trump that they will not question whether or not their favorite news sources are reporting correct information or irresponsibly throwing out inaccurate information because they have not done due fact checking. And those are the same posters that jump on others for sourcing inaccurate information. At least this Chicago Tribune article attempts at a little dissemination, unlike CNN and others that spouted out inaccurate numbers.

This pretty much sums it up. I seriously think he could do just about anything and his supporters will find a way to spin it in a positive light. I even feel like this is true with some of the mild trump supporters.
