Cases far smaller and less important than this one are dismissed by courts regularly for a number of reasons including insufficient evidence (and that's when we feel the courts are being impartial). I feel if there was ever a time to not rush in prior to having all your ducks in a row, this is it. A failed impeachment would almost definitely lead to a major DNC-discrediting campaign from the RNC, and I feel that would increase Trump's base's likelihood to vote for him again in greater numbers than the increase to the DNC base to vote him out.
Not helping matters is the ridiculously large roster of DNC candidates, where you could have a similar situation as the last election - people believing in candidate over party, and committing their votes to them even if it means both party and candidate lose, but that's a tangent from the topic at hand.

Recent polling has shown a 5% increase in the number of Americans who support impeachment hears. It’s now at 45%. The number of former AGs who would have indicted Team Trump Treason is now 800+. If and when more obstruction is overcome and malfeasance is exposed, you’ll see those numbers go up, a critical mass will be reached and impeachment hearings will begin. Timing is everything. Correct. The repubs and public got on board when the tapes were made public where it was shown that he had foreknowledge of the break in and encouraged obstruction of justice. I see a similar situation playing out now except everything will be a court battle and take time. Team Trump Treason will try to run out the clock, hence why congress’ oversight role is key. Getting the tax returns, Team Mueller’s testimony, follow up appearances of witnesses before committees, unredacted Team Mueller Report, as well as learning what the other 14 ongoing investigations that spun out of the Team Mueller investigation consists of. It’s a slow agonizing process as it should be but it’s already gaining momentum because Team Trump Treason and CYA Barr weren’t “fully exonerated,” and they’re not being transparent or cooperative.
