    Being in Minnesota, I've been watch more live coverage than I have since September, 2001.

    And I've seen our Governor several times take questions.  It's been really refreshing seeing someone answer questions respectfully, including difficult and repetitive ones. He also acknowledged that they didn't get a very good start in requesting National Guard help, having underestimated the numbers of people, on Friday.  No "I take no responsibility."

    I generally like Governor Tim Walz, though he's nothing particularly special.  But it's really refreshing to see someone act professionally and not whine the whole time and throw out awful body language.

    I am very surprised that Trump hasn't sunk his 2020 hopes with racist Tweets this year.  He's been pretty tight-lipped compared to how he spouts off on must subjects that rile his base.  Maybe he's a tiny bit smarter than I give him credit for, maybe he recognizes that if he energizes the African American voting block, then he's done.
    He must, because his handlers haven't seemed to be able to control him ever before, don't see why they could now.

    It nice to see the lack of interruptions while other people speak.  Less overt LIES and repetition is a plus too.
