The same cannot be said about all demographics have who historically and continue to not have the same rights in practice, as straight white males, and to a lesser extent, females. This also plays out on the socioeconomic scales as well The people in office can make a material differences in their lives. If you don't believe that or need examples, we could provide numerous examples.

It doesn't matter how many people you employ and their minority status, there's a broader responsibility related to the governmental functions in this country and you freely admit that you don't participate in that process. There's no assumptions in that statement at all. You have a problem that the people responsible keep failing in your eyes, so you decide to exit the process personally.
