The framed copy of Time magazine was hung up in at least five of President Trump’s clubs, from South Florida to Scotland. Filling the entire cover was a photo of Donald Trump.
“Donald Trump: The ‘Apprentice’ is a television smash!” the big headline said. Above the Time nameplate, there was another headline in all caps: “TRUMP IS HITTING ON ALL FRONTS . . . EVEN TV!”
This cover — dated March 1, 2009 — looks like an impressive memento from Trump’s pre-presidential career. To club members eating lunch, or golfers waiting for a pro-shop purchase, it seemed to be a signal that Trump had always been a man who mattered. Even when he was just a reality TV star, Trump was the kind of star who got a cover story in Time.
But that wasn’t true.
The Time cover is a fake.
There was no March 1, 2009, issue of Time magazine. And there was no issue at all in 2009 that had Trump on the cover.
In fact, the cover on display at Trump’s clubs, observed recently by a reporter visiting one of the properties, contains several small but telling mistakes. Its red border is skinnier than that of a genuine Time cover, and, unlike the real thing, there is no thin white border next to the red. The Trump cover’s secondary headlines are stacked on the right side — on a real Time cover, they would go across the top.
In this case, Trump’s golf clubs might seem like places where he wouldn’t need to stretch the truth. Reality is flattering enough. The clubs are monuments to Trump’s success — they bear his name and are filled with his images. But, still, his staff added an extra trophy that was phony.
It is not clear who created this fake Time cover — or why.
Its date might be a clue: March 1, 2009, was the season debut of Trump’s show “The Celebrity Apprentice.” But a transcript of that show offers no answers. In that episode, various B-list celebrities competed to sell cupcakes, and Trump fired comedian Andrew Dice Clay for poor performance. Nobody mentioned Time magazine.

I actually enjoyed the Apprentice, and I wish he had just stuck with that... And I'm sure he wishes he had too. I would bet $1M that he regrets ever running for President, and that he considers throwing in the towel every single day (not that I think he actually will, though even that would not shock me at this point. He's really struggling).
Yeah. Sure looks like he is struggling. Winning elections. Supreme court victories.Passing legislation. Economy looking good. If this is struggling then I hate to see what it looks like when he finally settles into the job.
He lost twice in the Supreme Court regarding the travel ban and even with yesterday's so-called "victory" it is extremely limited in what is actually allowed to take effect - much less than both proposals tried previously. And signing 38 executive orders is NOT the same as passing legislation. Perhaps you need to re-watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFroMQlKiag

You're crediting him with the economy?
And Supreme Court victories? And passing what legislation? There's no evidence of trump doing much of anything with legislation. I suppose you'd have to know what legislation is before you can work on it.
Because solar panels set vertically will work great. Total genius.
I heard that the wall was going to be built with compressed coal. I thought that was how Trump was bringing coal jobs back? Instead it's going to be solar panels from china?
What's Trump hiding? What is he afraid of? If everything is on the up and up and there's no collusion with Russia or obstruction of justice? What's he hiding? PTAPE?
Oh LORDY I hope there's a PTAPE.
So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream Where I'm not ugly and you're lookin' at me
The failing @nytimes writes false story after false story about me. They don't even call to verify the facts of a story. A Fake News Joke! Some of the Fake News Media likes to say that I am not totally engaged in healthcare. Wrong, I know the subject well & want victory for U.S.

is the U.S. at war with healthcare? What does victory look like Donald? The senate or house plan? Something else? Please hold a press conference and explain what victory looks like for the average health care consumer with health insurance. Please? You don't even have to take questions because good journalists don't ask questions. They just report the facts. So please, just explain to us what your vision of healthcare looks like and how it'll work, what's covered and what the average cost per person might be.
You know Donny, explain it like the Kenyan born, Marxist, Leninist, Socialist, communist that preceded you did. Whether you agree with it or not, whether you think he stood at the podium and lied his ass off, at least he faced the American people and explained it. Can you do that Donny?
