I don't even mean this to be a political question, but it was something I was pondering the other day. Could be a good parlor game.

You are abducted by weird, game-showing loving terrorists. Your life depends on your ability to answer the following question correctly:
"The President of the United States can name all 50 state capitals without the help of Google."

Nobody in their right mind says "yes" right? You HAVE to vote no.

he would deflect from naming the capitals. he would pivot and say that he has been to all 50 states, and there are tremendous, very good people in all of them and they are all his people. he would then go on to talk about his electoral vote total and how he had a record breaking crowd of tremendous people from all 50 states at his largest inauguration of all time.

President Trump is a very smart person.  The democrats gave every reason why he should not be elected and the Republicans can't quite put their finger on as to how to explain to them why he won.  The middle was found and Donald Trump found it.

Is it not getting old to state over and over again that President Trump lost by 3million or so? Clearly President Trump did not. I can say w/ certainty that Hillary Clinton lost w/ 3million more votes for her.

Is it not getting old to state over and over again that Trump won by EC votes? The EC votes dictate who will become the President - not who appealed to more humans in the US. If this is beyond your comprehension, it's certainly not the fault of the people who are telling you this.

Time and time again, you've shown an inability to use Google to seek answers to questions, an inability to comprehend explanations exceeding three sentences (or syllables), and an unwillingness to leave your confirmation bias at the door. You come on here claiming your logic falls on deaf ears, when the opposite is the truth; which is pretty typical of a puppet propagandist.

Further to this, intelligence does not make a good President: sincere giving a shit and putting in best efforts to create improvement for the many define a good President. If implementing travel bans without any semblance of causal relationship between immigration and harm, spending 30-40% of public correspondences bragging about winning the election while blaming others for political stagnation, and endorsing health care bills shown to reduce coverage by 22 million citizens read as giving a shit or creating improvement; your reality distortion field is truly impenetrable, and I'm glad so few of us are within it.

He got elected because his base is as dumb as he is.

If it weren't for the fact that so many good people knew he was completely wrong for the job and will be taking it on the chin from this idiot... I'd say, "You elected him... you deserve him."

Obviously I agree with your sentiments though. You have to be a freaking idiot to think Trump cares about others and could use such a position of privilege to make life better for people. He's as out of touch with reality as Marie Antoinette was uttering, "Let them eat cake" hearing the impoverished French common people had no bread.

I actually enjoyed the Apprentice, and I wish he had just stuck with that... And I'm sure he wishes he had too. I would bet $1M that he regrets ever running for President, and that he considers throwing in the towel every single day (not that I think he actually will, though even that would not shock me at this point. He's really struggling).
I'll donate to charity the day the towel is thrown...you name it.

    RIP George Carlin

I really wish he was here to comment today. We could use the laughs, and the truth

your common average salary making person that voted in trump should be slapped silly. trump is not for the common person. trump has no idea what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck, having a small savings & making things stretch? not a clue... trump is a 1%er & that is all. it is huge dollars, bullshit, running fuckers over, stinkfest & it is fucking boring to be that way. trump is boring. gold shitters, gold up the ass, pampered ass bunch of shit that whole crew.

    Okay.

I only read the first tweet linked in Merkin's post (not bothering to read the second because they are all so stupid and so similar).

I have now seen the second one. A new low and dramatically so.

If you support Trump, it's about time you looked in the mirror and maybe ask the following question of yourself: "What the f**k is wrong with me?"
    "My brain's a good brain!"
