I used to be able to tolerate him when he was on Crossfire I believe.  But when he moved to Fox and discovered that he made more money by being an asshole, I lost any ounce of respect for him.  He is literally the (4th) worst....

Over the past few weeks in Ohio it seems:

R candidates running on taxes and jobs #1, immigration #2 and sometimes on a personal character flaw of the opponent

D candidates running in health care and sometimes on personal character flaw of opponents.

that and the opioid crisis, I almost forgot about that.

I'm not sure that's 100%.  When analyzing party affiliation by education level, it's pretty rock solid that the more education one has, the more likely one is a Democrat.

I gotta say, I don't know either. mind you, I haven't researched it, but just reading the news here and there I see basically nothing. It's nothing but "vote blue!". 

The problem is that you don't live in the States, therefore you don't see local ads.  The Democratic strategy has been to localize the issues.  I'm in a competitive race in VA-7 and the issue is healthcare on the D side and Immigration on the R side.  

I personally see plenty of local American political ads. I see them everyday on American channel feeds (out of Washington and New York). And you're right, they are generally localizing the issues, and yes, healthcare is the main issue that's being sold.

The local ads I get are all for or against a single democratic candidate. I have yet to get one mailing for the republican candidate opposing him, but plenty general ads against not supported by the actual republican candidate. It's all about immigration, taxes, healthcare and 2A. The only really new topic this cycle is the bigger focus on immigration. The rest are just the hits.

It's not that I don't see your point because I do...but I also think to generalize 60 million people as all being the same can't be right. For every person at a MAGA rally chanting "lock her up," there's probably hundreds that are completely reasonable people.

I work as a probation officer in a pretty red county and I think I'm one of the only ones in my building that voted for Hillary. But I know that not everybody in my building is a stupid, racist, Christian. There has to be more...

But that is to suggest a Team Trump Treason supporter or a candidate who supports Team Trump Treason is “reasonable.” I’m arguing that that defies “reasoning.”
