Trump Used Asian Accent to Mock US Allies at Fundraiser
Trump also discussed the U.S. relationship with South Korea and complained, “So why are we paying for their defense?” Trump said, likely referring to the U.S.-South Korea joint exercises at the border with North Korea. “They’ve got to pay,” he added.
Then, Trump mocked the South Korean president’s accent while talking about how he “caved in to Trump’s tough negotiations,” the Post wrote.
But the president wasn’t done being politically incorrect and offensive. Speaking about when he asked Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe whether kamikaze pilots in World War II were drunk or on drugs. Trump said, “Imagine they get in a plane with a half a tank of gas and fly into steel ships just for the love of their country!”
And still on the topic of Asia, Trump also spoke in glowing terms about North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. “I just got a beautiful letter from him this week,” Trump said. “We are friends. People say he only smiles when he sees me.”
Well NOW I think he's racist. His proposed Muslim ban, suggestion that a Hispanic judge can't hear his cases, and general minority-hating rhetoric wasn't enough. But using a mock Asian accent? God help us....
When you support a racist in any way, shape, or form, including voting, that makes you a racist as well.
What if the way, shape, or form that you "support" them is being a fan? Michael Richards from Seinfeld ridiculously called black guys the N-word in a comedy store rant, and Hulk Hogan once said the N-word on some recording, but I'm a fan of both of those guys. Am I racist? Or does this only apply to politicians?

Do you consider Hulk Hogan and Michael Richards racists?
"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"

No for Hulk. Maybe for Richards. Richards' rant was particularly stupid. He was being heckled by some black guys and unfortunately, the response that popped into his head was the most braindead response someone can have. Does he have true hatred for black people? Or was he pissed off at those particular people and said the worst thing you can say? Don't know. It doesn't change my love of Seinfeld one bit though.
With Hulk I'd say no even if he did say the N-word. I listened to an interview with Booker T (a black wrestler) who said that when Hulk showed up in WCW (the wrestling organization that Booker was in) in 1994, Hulk was so impressed by Booker (and his brother Stevie who was Booker's tag team partner) that Hulk went to management and suggested that they get more opportunities and a bigger spot on the show (and thus, higher pay). I think stuff like that outweighs referring to your daughter's boyfriend as the N-word while you're talking privately (as Hulk did). Not excusing it though. But I think you can say something racist and not be a racist person. Just like you can say something stupid and not be a stupid person.
I actually visited the National Archives this past weekend and upon seeing so many handwritten letters to former Presidents, I thought "My God, can you imagine the letters that Trump receives?" Both his fan mail and hate mail are probably insane.

Didn't some lady get fired from her job because she thought she was writing a PM to Trump but instead posted it as a tweet?
NN anchor Chris Cuomo went nuclear on a guy who called him a derogatory name, threatening to beat his ass. Chris was in NY Sunday when a guy approached him and called him "Fredo" ... the insulting name of a character in "The Godfather" ... a name that connotes weakness. Chris is from a proud Italian family and it set him off, challenging the man, threatening ... "I'll f***in' ruin your sh*t. I'll f***in' throw you down these stairs." Cuomo told the guy ... the name "Fredo" is as offensive to Italians as the n-word is to African Americans.
