The #FakeNews MSM doesn't report the great economic news since Election Day. #DOW up 16%. #NASDAQ up 19.5%. Drilling & energy sector way up. Regulations way down. 600,000+ new jobs added. Unemployment down to 4.3%. Business and economic enthusiasm way up- record levels! I believe the James Comey leaks will be far more prevalent than anyone ever thought possible. Totally illegal? Very 'cowardly!' The Democrats have no message, not on economics, not on taxes, not on jobs, not on failing #Obamacare. They are only OBSTRUCTIONISTS!
Seeing as you give no credit or link for these words, I assume they are yours, correct?

Cmon man. Where have you been the entire thread. These are words straight from your President on twitter today. I post his tweets in bold.

Well, you see it's like this...
Once upon a time, not to far back, a nation of people lost their mind and elected a man wealthy in money but poor in scruples, manners and brains. And that's when I lost my shit and said things here in general to those here who helped get that man elected- things that I should not have said and so banned myself until my membership expired. So I missed about 90% of this fine thread.
In any case, I always credit statements to the speaker and usually provide links. But you young whipper snappers like abbreviate, leave off links, whatever it takes to be brief rather than ramble on. Glad I don't do that.. Anyway, I blame it on George Carlin. He criticized Americans for their use of euphemistic language so you young uns went the opposite direction.
Ah shit, now what were we talking about?

I thought you took a break willingly? This is like realizing years later that Jordan retired because of gambling issues.

Yes and no. I should have been banned but somehow got away with the crime so I willingly "banned" myself until my membership expired then anted up anew.

I read something early with Kellyanne Conway saying it had been a good week for Trump doing infrastructure and what have you. Man, I'd hate to see his administration have a bad week.
The current issue (#80) of Jack Rabid's fine music quarterly, The Big Takeover features an excellent article by Rabid that summarizes the first months of the Trump presidency.
(This issue also has great articles interviews with Chrissie Hynde, Tommy Stinson of The Replacements and much more. Excellent and well worth checking out!)

Every substantive policy that Trump has trumpeted is a continuation of existing Obama policy. Take his apprenticeship program. Fully funded and supported by Obama but what he won't tell you is that trump is also slashing benefits to government job training, placement and benefits program that folks in apprenticeship programs need to be successful. But hey, he's a snake oil salesman so what did you expect?
Hows that tax reform, wall and healthcare coming along? Tired of winning yet? And don't forget that congress takes the month of August off and that Paul Ryan and Fail McConnell have colluded to have the least productive congress ever by purposefully scheduling the least amount of days in session. How's that asparagus?
Senate debates a Russian sanctions bill tomorrow. Will trump sign it after it passes both houses?
Very good question I'm interested to see what he will do on that bill.

Yesterday's hearings provided zero evidence of collusion between our campaign and the Russians because there wasn't any. Chances of impeachment went from 3% to 0% with Comey's testimony. Great numbers on the economy. All of our work, including the passage of many bills & regulation killing Executive Orders, now kicking in! Ivanka on @foxandfriends now!

the staff floated the hashtag #infrastructureweek while posing with COPS, going to OHIO, and meeting with white Evangelical Christians. They capped it off with his 2nd non US born wife out of 3 (who hates his fat ass) finally moving into the White House.

Even before he took the oath of office, President Donald Trump was hailed for striking a deal with Carrier — a heating and refrigerating company based in Indiana — to save "close to 1,000" jobs that were on the chopping block.
Yet nearly six months later, Carrier is only saving a fraction of those jobs.
The company filed notice Monday night that it will lay off around 630 workers starting July 20 and lasting through the end of the year, far more than the 400 workers the company said it would let go as part of the deal, a local Indiana Fox affiliate reported.
Carrier is laying off the workers despite making a deal that earned the company more than $7 million in tax breaks and other incentives over the next decade, according to USA Today.
Trump received ample praise for the deal — including by reporters on cable news, who called the deal a "coup" for the then-president-elect."
Another $7 million down the drain. Trickle down economics. How does it work?

By "bills" he means memos signed in front of the press to make it seem like bills to his many under educated supporters.

But I have no sympathy. I'm sure Indiana went Trump. Just like I won't have any sympathy when those coal miners don't get their jobs back and they lose their health insurance.

It's not statesman-like but, sadly, we don't have elected officials behaving statesman-like either. He's funny though and makes important points.
