OK you caught me I think he is the GOAT. I forgot I posted that and thought I could act agreeable on something, but I think he is the GOAT and it isn't even close.
Cool. I have no problem with Rodgers. He's fun to watch. Like I said, maybe someday there will be a case to be made he is the GOAT. We shall see.
I'm a packer season ticket holder, and owner. I'm a huge fan. During training camp I go out and watch the practices all the time, and I usually rewatch our games at least once (even the championship game from this year.) I'very watched Aaron Rodgers for years and the dude is just incredible. It makes me sick that our management has only given him two teams able to win a super bowl (I think we were able to win a super bowl in 2014, but Bostick and our defense had other plans...) I can understand if you don't think his career has been long enough to be GOAT, but the thing that makes me mad is saying that his success disqualifies him, because success is so much more than just a QB. I could see an argument for Belichick being the GOAT (I prefer Lombardi but since their stats are basically incomparable due to the much different eras, that's just bias.) A coach has a lot more to do with success than a QB does.

The team is non profit so it is anything but a "money grab". And all the thousands of owners take great pride in it. We get invited to soecial events and get to vote on where some of the teams income goes, it's really neat.

I don't think success qualifies or lack of success disqualifies. It isn't that simple. Dan Marino never won anything but he set insane passing records at a time when it was much harder to throw in the NFL. It would be foolish to keep him out of this conversation because the body of work demands inclusion. Rodgers isn't in yet, in my opinion, but he's closer than say Eli Manning who is his contemporary and won twice.

Favre threw too many picks, puts him in the 2nd tier. He is the only QB other than Bart Starr with the ability to take the Packers to multiple Super Bowls though, so he's got that going for him.
Don't need to. I saw firsthand how he would stumble and see ghosts when it started to snow in Foxboro. But, lots of guys have played in domes over the years. No QB has ever thrown for more yards or more touchdowns than Peyton Manning. He's on the list, IMO.
baseball- maybe ruth or williams or mays? (this would be the hardest to do do i think) basketball- Michael Jordon or Wilt Chamberlain hockey- Wayne Gretzky
as far as Brady being the GOAT. I would probably say yes now. I was a huge Montana fan growing up and i think he passed him.

Kind of telling how well the Pack click on offense when they sit Rodgers for Matt Flynn.
that was against the Lions. Lions were terrible and Matt Flynn was a great QB until he injured his arm. I don't understand why you ignore the much longer lasting, and more recent stat for one game?
In Aaron Rodgers starting career, in the games he hasn't played (or was injured for the majority of) the Packers are 2-7-1. The games that Brady didn't play the Patriots are 14-6
Baseball: Steve Carlton Basketball: Michael Jordan Hockey: Wayne Gretzky

OK, saying Rodgers is the greatest QB of all time is fairly laughable, but Stave Carlton as the greatest baseball player. Dude, you're smoking something.

So you say above Rodgers-less Pack went 2-4-1 in 2013 and then after I show you the game where Matt Flynn showed Wisconsin how quarterbacking is done in the 2011 season, you come back with Pack is 2-7-1 when Rodgers sits.

3-6-1, not much better. 30% Win Percentage for the Packers when Rodgers isn't playing, compared to a 70% Win Percentage for the Patriots when Brady isn't playing.

In 1971 the Phillies won 67 games, Steve Carlton had 20 wins that year. In 1972 the Phillies won 59 games, Steve Carlton had 27 wins that year. (also 310 strikeouts and a 1.97 ERA.) He had 6 20-win seasons in his career, and for the most part played on a really bad team
