Here's an honest question for everyone, Trump supports and those against him.
Is there a breaking point with his core supporters? I mean, the guy says he wants "everyone to have health care" and his supporters eat it up even though it goes against everything they say they're for. Honestly, I think the breaking point would be guns. Having said that, his position on guns was damn near the EXACT same thing as Clinton's.
I'm not old enough to remember Nixon. While I love to read on Presidential history, one thing I've never come across was what Nixon's supporters were like at the end. Sure he had a certain base percentage, but did people recognize he was guilty and abandon ship? The political climate today is so toxic though that I'm thinking people would go down with the ship instead of having to admit they were wrong.

Nixon lost the support of the establishment republicans in congress, not for the breakin but the subsequent lies and coverup that came to light during the watergate hearings. Had he not resigned, he would have been impeached and found guilty with republicans voting to try and convict him.
Trump keeps this shit up and I think he'll lose enough support to be ineffective and like a cornered rat, he'll do something impeachable, if he hasn't done so already. He's not fit for office.
