of this! I think he's been doing a great job. If he didn't expect he'd run into opposition that's on him but I couldn't ask for a better start to it all! Let's get onto the wall and build that mofo!

A great job? Can you name one thing that he has accomplished thus far?

And honestly, I think only border states that choose to build the wall should pay for it. I'm in VA and that wall can fuck off. That's your problem in Texas. States rights for God's sake. The 10th Amendment says anything not specifically given to the Fed is reserved for the states. Ain't nothing about walls in the Constitution. Pay for the wall yourself, not with my tax dollars.
    And Healthcare!?!?
You could argue it was unconstitutional. But that was litigated and found to be a tax which congress has the right to levy under the Constitution.
I also say "fuck the wall"! I vote a free bullet train from the Texas border straight to Canada...or even VA for that matter!
If America pays for it, I would love a bullet train to Mexico. Make for a nice break from the winter.
Sorry, South to North free rides only! All aboard!!! If you're going the other way you will still need passport, screening checkpoints, etc.
Still feels like a Texas problem to me. I don't bother you with Virginia traffic issues.

According to Fox News, Trump is "vowing more security action next week."

He just doesn't get it...at all.

He acts as if this ban is the frontline against terrorism and that he is the one who figured it all out. I think it is an attempt to take any blame away from himself in the wake of a future terrorist attack. He will point to this and say it would have never happened if his ban had been in place. Smart in a narcissistic way.

I wouldn't put it past him to actually have someone carry out such an attack that way he can say I told you so
    I'm not so sure.
Aside from a few hundred people affected by the "ban" it was a starting point to address the issue.
How many people in America had to think twice about leaving America and if they could return while the "ban was in place"?
So this put a check on people internally on home soil instantly.

Whatever it is, it's probably imported from Mexico. Better enjoy it while he can!

We'll pay for the train, I'm good with that as long as they all stay in Virginia afterwards. Deal? Once there, they are your problem! You pay for the increased housing/state law enforcement/etc.

Why not part of Mexico? I would be good either way as long as they accepted all of the illegals that are currently coming into Texas.

In order to deal with a perceived undocumented immigrant problem from Mexico, you would like to have a bullet train from Mexico to Canada built. Instead of Americans paying for a wall, you want them to pay for a train route from Mexico to Canada, the train operators, the land the trains have to go on, the tracks, and the maintenance. You say that the existence of the bullet train means no more security checkpoints: so, what, a Mexican travels north and sees either an unfortified border over here, and a bullet train over there, and takes the bullet train every time? Why wouldn't they walk across the border then and there?
Next point, what about the Mexicans who have family in America and train up to Canada so they can walk across our largely insecure border between Canada and America (a border far larger than the America-Mexico border, in case you'd like to add to your unnecessary spendings and build a wall up here, in addition to your new train and insecure borders in the South).

The north states can decide whether or not they need a wall between Canada and them...not a Texas problem anymore. As dignin suggested, those states would be fully responsible for any immigration issues up there.

No security checkpoints or any of that needless stuff. If they get to the train, they can take whatever they want, guns, drugs, measles, etc!
time for CA, OR and WA to become part of Canada.
    Why not part of Mexico?
or Mexico. what part of TX you in?
It's a quiet little town called Nunyabiznez. I think it would be more beneficial for them to be part of Mexico. Then it's a straight shot from Mexico to Canada. Remember, though, you would now be bound by all Mexico laws and regulations.

Negative.. California has the fifth largest economy in the world. We don't need any of those three states leaving.
Not to mention California has Godfather. I don't know many Canadians who would want that type of man around.
We would love to adopt these three states.
This is why our country would enforce a ban from these three states temporarily and thoroughly vet you guys first.
Don't bring your problems here please and thank you.

Once they were in Canada, they would become Canadian citizens through the superior immigration process up there and Canada would be fully responsible for their wellbeing once there. The north states can decide whether or not they need a wall between Canada and them...not a Texas problem anymore. As dignin suggested, those states would be fully responsible for any immigration issues up there.
I don't even know what to say to this. The fact that we're discussing how you could round up Mexicans (who you've defined as either hyenas or leeches), and spend an obscene amount of money (which hurts the national debt and goes against what Trump promised) to send them up to your neighbouring allies so they can inherit your problem, is absolutely dumbfounding to me.

We'll pay for the train, I'm good with that as long as they all stay in Virginia afterwards. Deal? Once there, they are your problem! You pay for the increased housing/state law enforcement/etc.
You're talking tongue in cheek solutions. I'm being serious. This is a state issue. Fix it and pay for it.
Protecting the Country's border is a state issue? I'm not getting what you're saying. Disease, drugs, human trafficking, etc coming across the United States border is a "state issue"?

Okay...? Still don't know where you're going with this dude? You should probably avoid Chicago if you are worried about "stray bullets"... Or any gang ridden areas of San Diego, Pittsburgh, New York, etc. I've also heard of cartels popping off shots across the border, so might not put any border cities in your GPS.

Wow...if you're to dense to gather that this was a fascesious response to another poster that stated that border problems were only the responsibility of the bordering state, then that's your fault.
Sorry, but I struggle to differentiate between your satirical comments that make no sense and some of your honest commentaries on here that also make no sense.

Also, you had a grammar error when you tried to attack my intelligence - **too dense
    Um...Thanks for the proof read?
