ALIVE. I have seen PJ 14 times since 1991. I have heard this song 14 times.
ouch that hurts. i love the end. i suppose i can see how it doesn't work well live though. alive is overplayed along with most of their catalog at this point. time for new music
Corduroy. I absolutely love the studio version as well as the early live versions. Every time I've heard it live post 2000 tour, it just doesn't sound the same.
THANK YOU!! For me, there are no songs i wouldnt mind hearing again aside from this one. I live in LA, and in the Spring of 95, Corduroy was overplayed here, along with Green Days When I Come Around, leading me to not really care for either. There was a day when KNAC started playing Corduroy, feeling fed up I switched to KROQ, who was playing the tail end of When I Come Around, i sat through it only to hear the beginning of Corduroy, so I switched to KLOS who was halfway through Corduroy so I just heard it and then they started playing When I Come Around so i angrily switched back to KNAC where Corduroy ending... and then I hear the opening riff of When I Come Around... I turned off the radio at that point. Since then, i just cringe whenever I hear either opening riffs!
I thought I was the only one. This must be what it feels like when doves cry,

I think no one mentioned future days yet. I was going to post this the minute the thread was created. Then I felt guilty. I figured it wouldn't take long for somebody else to post it. Then I could be relieved of my guilt. Thanks for making me come clean. Sorry Ed. I'm just not a fan of sappy love songs.

I would be interested to see an opposite poll - Most Favorite Songs Live. Wonder if any of the above mentioned songs would make such poll.

Everyone has an opinion but to say Immortality is a worse song live over songs like Last Kiss, Let the Records Play, Johny Guitar, Sweet Lew, Ole, Evacuation, Speed of Sound, Unemployable, Future Days, Just Breathe, Sirens, The Fixer, Push Me Pull Me, Parachutes, Bugs, is crazy imo lol.

Ok so I'm the immortality person, and it's only me so I get you all love it but I'd take any of these songs besides maybe bugs and sirens over it. I've seen the band 40 something times and I bet immortality at half those. Just doesn't do anything for me. Sorry people.

It's all good! I wasn't trying to knock you. I just can't believe how different of tastes some people have. I also like some of those songs on the list I made I just would never put them in the same league as Immortality. With a catalogue of 150ish songs I just can't fathom having that at the bottom. To each their own!
If this list keeps growing and the band suddenly decides to take it seriously, Pearl Jam's next show will consist of them coming out, waving to the crowd, taking a bow and leaving the stage.

You could say the same about the majority of the first three albums live... anything that used to have strong Ed vocals or a nice groovy pace now sounds sped up and weaker. I'm looking at you SOLAT... and I LOVE the original and early live versions of SOLAT.
Crazy Mary is the only serious dud for me. Last Kiss is close but I can tolerate it more.

Since 80% of their catalog has been mentioned in this thread, maybe they shouldn't tour for a couple of years, so these songs aren't as stale to everyone

Song? Let's try the entirety of their second encore. It's so predictable and tired.
I don't go to more than one or two shows a tour, so i'm not as worn out on the multitude of songs that many others here seem bothered by. Last Kiss feels like a cop out, though. If they want to do something special for the people behind the stage, then play something of substance.
But yeah--that second encore has become quite a predictable event. That, to me, is everything a PJ concert should never be. Hell, Sirens as a closer would be cool. Inside Job...State of Love and Trust,,,Blood. Just give us something other than Baba/RitFW/YL.
I think the awesomeness of this band is showcased here. they have so many awesome songs, not just a few hits, that some people love to hear live, and others don't.

Agreed, the 2nd encore had become terribly predictable.

Plus, I couldn't be bothered with any EV only songs, uke versions or 'Into the Wild' tracks.
