Right. Giving national security secrets to wikileaks shouldn't be judge so harshly but giving DNC/Podesta secrets to wikileaks necessitates sanctions and the removal of diplomats. I am ok with sanctions and diplomatic response to Russia but on the whole the commutation sends the wrong signal. It suggests that democrats only care about hacking/wikileaks when it effects them and not national security.

@BS44325 Seven years in jail is much harsher than an expulsion of diplomats. Plus they will just be back next week anyway, staying in the East Wing. And maybe he called Assange's bluff.

I don't understand what your point is. Brennan said that the CIA did not leak the dossier to the press. He didn't say that the dossier didn't exist or the agency doesn't have a copy of it. He has made no public judgment to its accuracy.

The goods I'm referring to are the methods used by our intelligence agencies to gather information and know what they know. They, and rightly so, don't always share what they know. There are 5 active investigations into the Russian hacking and ties to the Trump campaign. Obama is not going to pull a Comey. Treasury will get to the bottom of it. Follow the money.
