I didn't watch the debates but saw the commentary immediately prior and agree with the comments that Trump and Clinton may be the 2 most unpopular presidential candidates ever. It's the worser of 2 evils. We are not going to be much better off with either.

The sad thing is that there were kernels of truth in what Trump had to say, specifically with regards to Clinton's history. Unfortunately, as usual, his lack of basic decorum gave Clinton an out for not giving him the time of day. Free, there is a proper way to conduct oneself in a formal debate, and by not conducting himself in that right way, he lost the ability to really nail the key points and force an answer from her. That's a loss for us all, and really proves just how unhinged Trump is. He had the opportunity to corner her, but without the approach of basic respect, he got nothing out of her.

Holt was asking the questions. Trump didn't respond to all the items Hillary brought up either. He also didn't answer some of the questions that Holt asked. He danced around like Ginger Rogers.
Any dirt that Trump has on Hillary can be countered with equal or worse dirt. The Trump Foundation appears to have been his personal slush fund. He can't say that about the Clinton Foundation. He can suggest that there was "pay to play" but in the end the "pay" was money going to a hugely successful charitable cause.
The email crap is just that....it's been played out. It isn't unusual for people to delete emails and the security expert stated why he used a hammer to destroy the device. It is now common for IT security to drill holes in hard drives and old cell phones to make sure no one can access data on them.

Well we do have to remember that it is impossible to get through a Presidential debate and address all of the issues that arise. There are time limits, and in this case a whole lot of interruptions. There hasn't been a Presidential debate in the history of America where either candidate is able to answer to every comment, accusation, innuendo, or fact that the other candidate brings up. No matter what side you're on, I think it's important to keep this in perspective. A debate isn't an hour-long 60 Minutes interview. They move fast and there simply isn't enough time to delve into any one issue. The whole point of debates is to see who can manage to send the clearest and most succinct (and emotionally stable) overall message in the allotted time, not to dig deep into individual issues that are mentioned by the opponent. Given that, I think it's pretty clear that Hillary came out way on top.

Agreed, but he brought up some things that she didn't answer. Now, is this on him or is it on her? He did corner her a couple times, but when you have diarrhea of the mouth, it's hard for him to stop talking. Same goes for her, she gets on a roll, and just talks and talks.
