So just a CD preorder?  I’m on the road so haven’t had much time to look around.

    So far it is.

For those that have not preordered yet or want to cancel their Amazon this is the best deal I have seen.

I like the sound of the new song. Need a few more listens to get in to it. The vocals are a little underwhelming IMO.
    It's a hopeless situation...

I bet the vinyl won’t come until they do the back catalog. Sucker for Tool so the cd preorder is a necessity.

Let’s see how long I can go without listening... I made it this far without listening to Invincible, so fingers crossed.

I didnt like how when APC released ETE, I already knew half of the songs, I would like to avoid a similar experience w/ Fear Inoculum.

FLAC is up on Tidal now, although 4.60 seems steep for a single I didn't mind dropping it after doing 45 for the CD

Ugh.  Digital for me, then.  Not paying $40+ for a damn CD.

Well aware of what it comes with. That's why I asked if there was one without all the bullshit.  Something I'm going to look at once and put away on the shelf forever.  Completely unnecessary and honestly kinda fucking arrogant to expect fans to fork over $45 for a CD with no cheaper alternative.  But it's Maynard, arrogance is his forte.
  • I was meant to be in bed an hour ago but then I saw this song appear on my Facebook newsfeed.

album packaging has always been Adam Jones' baby. providing some sort of video to the fans when tool rarely provides anything video-wise seems like a win for the fans, not an act of being arrogant from the band
