Detroit IMO was the best show of Midwest tour in 2014. I know the other 2 get a lot of love because of the full album performances.

Cleveland in 17? Hall of Fame show? Isn't this a guarantee if they get in? They would play a show wouldn't they?

Yes. Going on 7 years since a Cleveland show. :disappointed:
All Cleveland droughts will come to an end... except for the Browns, they'll suck forever.

Oh snap - 25 years in a row!!!!
  • According to Kim Thayil, guitarist of the American rock band Soundgarden, Pearl Jam will soon be on tour. This he revealed in an interview with music site Loud Wire. Jan Smeets did earlier report this year that the group around frontman Eddie Vedder playing in 2017 at Pinkpop.

The website Loud Wire wanted to know more about the future plans of Soundgarden, but came across an interesting news. Matt Cameron, who both drums for Soundgarden and Pearl Jam, which would have been busy with the tour plans of the latter band. Soundgarden is therefore as yet no new album or tour.

    Pearl Jam at Pinkpop 2017

Immediately after the last edition of Pinkpop had Jan Smeets in L1 good news. The festival Pearl Jam made for the edition of 2017. After several failed attempts to book the band, the Americans finally returned to Megaland. However, a black-on-white confirmation is still lacking: Pinkpop well as Pearl Jam have no official statement yet brought out. The fact that Soundgarden now confirms a tour, gives hope.

Pearl Jam is in second place on your wish list for 2017.

    Soundgarden

Fans of Soundgarden will unfortunately have to wait a little longer. The various side projects of the band's new album is not yet on the agenda. The band brings the next time it re-release of Louder Than Love and Down On The Upside off.

My friend and I had tickets for the 2014 show in Detroit and we were going to do a road trip from Central New York ... but he had to be at Open House for a public school and had to be there -- since it was his first year teaching there. Just outright bad luck!!!

I was at the Detroit show. It was fucking great! I have talked to people that said it was one of their favorite PJ shows ever. I can agree with that. My wife is originally from there so I visit often and can say that rock concerts in Detroit are killer because the crowds are totally pumped. I will totally be there if/when PJ plays the send off to The Joe.

Its all about the festivals and the big paychecks. The shows will be planned around which ever festival the band chooses to play. If its pinkpop, then there will be euro dates. Based on the success of the Fenway and Wrigley shows, I would not be surprised if that becomes an annual thing. Play four shows, make a ton of cash.
