Seems to have turned into a "please play here" thread rather than rumours.

Only thing solid seems like west coast USA (from the Kelly Curtis/Ament Q&A from November 2015) and Europe June/July 2017 (Pink Pop is usually second weekend of June). Euro tours are usually announced in December.

Dimi has hinted at Australia, however in the past January/February Australia dates would usually have been announced by now.

Pink Pop and Detroit rumors seem most legitimate to me.

A west coast run similar to the east coast run this past year (april-may), then off to Europe, then maybe a festival or two, Is there a schedule for the "Joe" going down or just closing down. The west coast would likely consist of markets that haven't played in awhile sprinkled with some big markets (LA, Seattle, etc). Pure guess, just lines up with their recent pass and their passion for their time off and side projects.

Yes. Pearl Jam closing the building was mentioned during a Red Wings pregame show and during a game broadcast. Chris Chelios also mentioned PJ would prefer to close The Joe than open the new arena.

Mike and Stone mentioned that they would play Seattle/west coast "very soon" during a Seattle radio broadcast. That would coincide with a west coast leg in the spring as everyone is predicting.

For Grins and Giggles, let say we are right with the Euro Swing in June and a US West Coast in April May. Based soley on last year's slate, lets say 15 +/- shows starting in early april through mid may. Insert your guesses:
Houston, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, San Fransisco, Salt Lake City, Boise, Seattle, Phoenix, Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego, etc. Thoughts?

Except the sort of played here last year. Playing Pemberton which is a few hours north of Vancouver, is the equivelent of playing the Gorge which is a few hours East of Seattle. Would they really play BC two years in a row? Then again, there's only so many places to play in the West.

They announced last tour officially on Jan 19th, but rumor mill and venue buzz ramped up in October/November time frame.

Yeah, I remember dates leaking out of the rumor mill about this time last year. If there is a tour next Spring/Summer they are probably still ironing out details and someone will slip up soon

Pearl Jam posted on Twitter, a poll for "what is your dream setting for a live Pearl Jam show"..
    Stadium
    Small Club
    On the beach
    Festival

What are the chances they're gauging what they should do for their next tour?! I voted for small club. St. Paul/Minneapolis has plenty!

Destination/beach shows have been pretty popular lately (MMJ, Phish, etc). I could see them doing that, but i would prefer small clubs... duh

Small club would be awesome yet suck At the same time since tickets would be impossible to get.

I went to Fort Lauderdale and Miami last spring, was fun to swim and lay out in the sun before the shows. I would love for PJ to do an event similar to MMJ's Mexico shindigs.

four years ago PJ did a show on the Pensacola beach in FL... opened with Oceans! I heard a few stories from people who were standing IN the ocean watching PJ perform Oceans. Sounded like an amazing experience.

Dave Mathews & Tim Reynolds also do it... I hope PJ doesn't do it, seems cheesy to me, but I have a feeling its coming someday... I think destination style events at resorts like we are talking about and other travel packages will be coming in the future based off that survery they sent out recently

small theater all day, every day

yeah... they are older. they have families. I could see it.
I wonder if the band would be too "accessible" in this setting for some of their tastes?
