We are opening a new it's not a tour rumor thread
Rumor has it that the final event at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit will be a PJ show in 2017. Detroit Red Wings radio broadcaster announced it over the air during a game, and Chelios has said he cannot confirm or deny that and listen to what Eddie said during the 2014 Detroit show.

Oh Geezzz, I'm still searching for a Friday Fenway ticket!
I hope PJ gives love to Seattle AND or The Gorge in 2017. I would head out for that!Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!0 -
oh wow! sounds like i'm going to detroit! lolI'll ride the wave where it takes me......0

It fucking sucks being a Pearl Jam fan in Seattle, it use to be the shit, I am sure a lot of it has to do with ticket & media requests, because it is probably 10 times worse than any other place they play, so then play the fucking Gorge! 2014 was my last show, and I had to travel to Memphis to see it, and Memphis is not an easy back and forth with no direct flights. Sincerely, Showless in Seattle0

East Coast is where the $$$ is.....0
-
that's funny cause shit sure is hella expensive here, and it is not like they can't go sleep in their own beds before and after the show, so the much lower expenses has to offset a lot of that, also it's not like they can't just play 3 shows here whenever they want, even if they aren't touringbuck502000 said:East Coast is where the $$$ is.....

I probably won't go to the Detroit show, but if they are coming to the Midwest that is good news!words seem so out of place.

The Gorge is just better, Key Arena kind of sucks, Benaroya Hall which I see all the time, is an awesome venue, but way small, what would be awesome is 2 shows at Benaroya Hall then 2 a few days later at The Gorgemcgruff10 said:

Hope they make a slight detour and hit Atlanta. The Bonnaroo festival screwed us Georgia folks.
Greenville was awesome though!"I got memories, I got shit"0 -
I think Seattle is Bi-Polar. Sometimes they bring it, sometimes they don't. The band is similar. The 2009 shows were ok, but nothing crazy. They cloned a number of things both nights (bring in extra musicians for just breathe/the end, the real me in the encore etc..). They barely passed 2 hours in length (ie it felt like the band did the bare minimum). As much as it feels like we have a Bi-Polar crowd in Seattle, sometimes it feels like we have a Bi-Polar band. You have to wonder how crazy the crowd would get in Seattle if they tried the stuff they do out East. The experiment, albums front to back to etc... They played the gorge with an acoustic set and epic setlist and the crowd went apeshit.mcgruff10 said:

If you go to a Seattle show the first thing you'll probably notice is how many fans aren't from Seattle. It's a well travelled show and has a huge population of die hard fans. I think the band really has to bring it in Seattle. When they have (Seattle II '98, Seattle II '00, and Gorge '05 come to mind) they can tear the roof down. I was really shocked when they played a single show in 2013. They hadn't done a single show at Key Arena since as far back as I can remember. Especially when the venue wasn't being used the next day and the show sold out in 6 seconds.Post edited by Zod on0 -
Seattle and Vancouver can be lame crowds because the fans have seen them there so many damn times over the years. I don't blame the band for taking a break from Seattle so they can build up demand again.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0

I think 1 show since 2009 is enough of a fucking break!HughFreakingDillon said:Seattle and Vancouver can be lame crowds because the fans have seen them there so many damn times over the years. I don't blame the band for taking a break from Seattle so they can build up demand again.
