My wife's co-worker is stating with good authority Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters and Radiohead for Pink Pop next summer - I think we would make the trip for that. It would also lead me to believe a Euro tour is also being planned.

I think a Euro tour would be a lock but I think there is a chance that terrorism fears could sideline another Euro tour.
    Thought about this too.

Also was on my mind at the Neil Young and the Bruce show Ive just seen.

Man, I've seen three shows in Seattle over the years, and all the 05-6 Gorge shows. I don't get the hate for Seattle shows...the second show in 2000 was ridiculous. I had 10c seats night one, and it was fun...but from my seats in the back night two, that place was on fire. As was the band. I've seen great shows in Portland (98), not as great (2000) and great again for LB. Some nights are just better than others, doesn't matter where you go.

I find Seattle shows can be very bipolar. Some of them have been insanely good and some of them have only been ok. The tours in '98 and '00 had 2nd show is much better syndrome. '02 shows were consistent. Gorge '05 was the best I've ever seen, Gorge '06 shows were pretty damn good too, Seattle '09 were pretty flat, and Seattle '13 was pretty good, but not Vancouver good like the show 2 days before it.

I guess the thing I notice about Seattle shows, especially the last few tours, is the sheer quantity of visiting 10c fans. People say the Seattle fans are't very good, but what's it saying when the majority of people at them aren't actually from Seattle? lol. That last show was tough to get tickets for, because the 10c split the two legs of tour seperately. This all the Easterner's were able to put in for Seattle tickets as a #1 pick :( Made it much tougher for people in the area to score tickets.

Dude I've seen over 50 shows and Gorge 05 was out of this world. My best show as well. I'm hoping we get some outdoor shows next year because I'm tired of arena tours.

I like the sound of a Hobart show. I have my fingers crossed that they do come down to Tassie.

It fucking sucks being a Pearl Jam fan in Seattle, it use to be the shit, I am sure a lot of it has to do with ticket & media requests, because it is probably 10 times worse than any other place they play, so then play the fucking Gorge! 2014 was my last show, and I had to travel to Memphis to see it, and Memphis is not an easy back and forth with no direct flights. Sincerely, Showless in Seattle

My wife and I are trying to plan a two/three week European vacation next summer. We would like to base it around a PJ tour. But with her being a teacher, the vacation has to take place in July or August.
The PinkPop rumors are troubling since it takes place in early June and that Vedder has famously said they won't tour Europe for more than three weeks.
Even if PinkPop was the first show of their tour, they'd be wrapping up the tour right before we were able to fly over.

I've heard the same. Although I'm guessing it's either 1, maybe 2 of those acts. Not all three. That would break a festivals bank pretty quick.
