Was just about to post this. They just emailed the Braves season ticket holders about it.

Looks like Billy Joel is also playing Wrigley again (4th year in a row) on August 11. http://m.mlb.com/chc/tickets/info/billyjoel
Cubs on the road August 7-13... could PJ play sometime that week, too?

Let's be honest... this thread could never live up to the legendary 2016 PJ25 Tour Rumors thread

I think we had Rolling Stone sourcing us for dates lol

It was the best! I keep hoping this one is going to pick up.

Why would anyone want to see a ballpark show in Cleveland? Arena is so much better.

I don't think anyone said it was their first choice... I prefer an arena show like everyone else... I just take what I can get and think it would be a great way to celebrate the HOF and i would be there in a heartbeat... i just don't think 3 songs in Brooklyn with a bunch of suits is all that exciting
Yeah, I have no urge to go to Brooklyn.

For whatever this Cleveland reporter knows:

"Left up in the air is whether this show will lead to others. Major bands like Pearl Jam, U2 and Guns N' Roses are planning stadium tours this summer. Pearl Jam's status as the big name in the Class of 2017 for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame had been mentioned as the most likely headliner for this show"

  • I don't think PJ has ever done a full stadium tour so that'd be a first. I guess most of the SA venues they've played are stadiums tho

What would a full NA studium tour look like? 10-15 dates?

I think they can in the bigger cities. We already saw them sell out four dates in Chicago and Boston.

If they don't crowd the touring zone, then they could pull it off. I think they could play Citi Field for two nights but don't play philly. One night metlife but again no philly.

Also, think they would have to get solid opening acts as well

If they ever did a stadium tour, one would have to think the first new stadium on the list would be Citizens Bank in Philly. PJ loves Philly, plain and simple.
