True but four dates is not a tour. I mean 15-20 shows.chitownp76 said:I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0 -
I hope PJ is taking in all of these analytics so they know what size venue to play in 2018.www.twitter.com/robert_harbin0

Good point. Boston and Chicago are far enough apart to sell out four shows. What if they attempted two stadium shows in NYC, Philly, and even Toronto as well? It'd be interesting to see how well all ten of those shows would sell.mcgruff10 said:

agree with that. i picked the selfish marketWeston1283 said:
If they ever did a stadium tour, one would have to think the first new stadium on the list would be Citizens Bank in Philly. PJ loves Philly, plain and simple.JP218404 said:
If they don't crowd the touring zone, then they could pull it off. I think they could play Citi Field for two nights but don't play philly. One night metlife but again no philly.mcgruff10 said:
you think they are still big enough to pull this off?my2hands said:We all know the stadium tour is coming at some point... it's just a matter of when
Also, think they would have to get solid opening acts as wellMarquee 91
Wetlands 91
CBGB 91
Roseland 91
and many, many more0 -
also those aren't 40,000+ stadiums/ ballparks.rummy said:

Very true. Fenway and Wrigley certainly are more "intimate." Not sure if I should compare the two bands (very different trajectories) but GNR gouged to sell out one show at Toronto's Roger's Centre last summer...JP218404 said:

To me it would look like one show because that is how many ball park shows I would want to see a year.dancinacrossthewater said:

I'd rather see them in a smaller venue than a stadium. I've been to stadium shows & I just don't think they're as fun. Also, there are other stadiums/venues in this country that aren't on the East Coast. Just saying.I LOVE MUSIC.

I think a future Stadium Tour could look like this... give or take a few cities
Boston
NYC
Philly
DC
Atlanta
Houston
Chicago
Los Angeles
San Francisco
Seattle
Maybe that's why they have skipped Atlanta & Houston for so long? As well as DC lately

Atlanta is getting a new baseball stadium for next season so I doubt they would play there.
Have their been concerts at Citi Field in NY?
Citizens Bank Park in Philly has a few concerts a year so I can see them eventually playing there. I'd rather see them inside at the Wells Fargo Center though.0 -
