Maybe instead of blaming truckers for children’s illness start pointing the finger at the parents themselves? Since the Trudeau’s cultist think it’s ok to cut off or deny people from EI who lose their job over vaccine mandates then maybe we should cancel those child welfare cheques that parents love to receive in the bank account…at least people on EI earned their money…

Look a little closer at a former premier of Ontario who gutted and privatized long term health care, and now coincidentally is in the for profit business of long term health care homes

    all parties are complicit
+1.   I'm not disagreeing with the other fellow about the Wynne government... but I would ask this:

Do you honestly think a conservative provincial government would have invested vigorously in health care before the pandemic?  I think not.

This trucker convoy and their supporters are the dumbest of fucks.

    Karen convoy.
It's quite mind blowing. Hard to explain even the amount of support they're getting.  Not even remotely surprising though.. I read today that GoFundMe is freezing the $4 Million they have raised because they have no clear documentation or plan on what to do with the money. Shocking!

I'll say this though...  for all the 'love' these truckers are getting... I personally support the truckers who got vaccinated and are presently driving our goods and groceries to where they need to get to.

This convoy is choosing to drive across the country to Ottawa because they won't take a couple hours out of their lives to get a proven vaccine to fight a global pandemic. Call them Karens, I call them Cartmans.

And want to talk about selfish.  Let’s talk about parents?  The most selfish thing one can do is have children.  People use up vast amounts of of resources.  This country sends out 27 plus billion annually to parents, and many of these parents do not need the money?  It is a con voting scheme that both the liberals and cons benefit from…now imagine if we only gave money to the truly deserving and told those who have the means to take responsibility for their own kids?  Imagine if 13 billion of that 27 billion went to healthcare….

    yup truckers are the problem…

So here you have Jason Kenney... yes JASON KENNEY admitting the following:

We need to get past Omicron.
    Vaccines are way out.
Vaccines keep folks out of hospitals.
Unvaccinated are disproportionally taking up hospital beds due to COVID.
Your personal choice is also a social choice with broad consequences.
70% of ICU beds are taken up by unvaccinated people.

    All correct.

Then of course he pivots to... but we're a free country. And people have choices. Goodness gracious. The pandering never ends.

We would not need vaccine restrictions if people just got the shot. It's remarkable that people need to be convinced to get the shot and that the government needs to step in to try to get as many people vaccinated. Stop blaming the government for trying to protect people and trying to get back to normal safely. The blame goes directly to those who are refusing to get a proven vaccine.

"We have to do everything we can."  - Jason Kenney
"But we're a free country." - Also Jason Kenney

I just wanna add with regards to Kenney's comments about the Trucker vaccine mandate:

He's against it. As some of you are. (totally fair)

He says that common sense needs to play a factor in some of these rules and that by having a vaccine mandate, it slows our supply chain and keeps groceries off of shelves.

OK.  "Common sense" talk here. I like that.

So let's dissect what Kenney has said here once again...

Vaccines are the way out of the pandemic.
    Our Health System is fragile.
Unvaccinated are disproportionally taking ICU beds within said Health System.

Call me crazy....    but the common sense here is to get the vaccine. Full stop. And these restrictions... be it LCBO, Truckers, concerts, sports, you name is has but one goal and one goal only... get people vaccinated.

    A couple things here....

I don't like Trudeau.... nowhere near as much as you don't... but Poliviere is representing here what I hate most about politicians, including Liberals.  Posting this partisan bullshit for people like you to eat up.

First: These photos are taken way out of context.  Both of these are taken in October/early November respectively.
Second: I'm not so dumb to believe that truckers spend their entire lives inside their trucks.  They eat, they socialize, they use washrooms, etc.

These mandates have one goal... get as many people vaccinated as possible.  If the federal government only has a handful of tools in their toolbox to use (no pun intended) then they're going to use them.  Arguing that truckers don't spread the virus as much because they're alone makes no difference if the goal is to get as many people vaccinated as they can. I could be wrong here, but there is no vaccine mandate for truckers who drive inter-provincially is there? Just internationally?

You may not believe this... but I want to vote Conservative. I don't like Trudeau.  But when I see this crap from Poliviere and the garbage coming out of O'Toole.... it makes it very hard to go blue.

So these issues don't concern you at all?

Both concerns are the result of the damage done by both parties.

Canada is a big spender on health care but we lag behind countries in results

I’m not a conservative, liberal or NDP… I support good government, not your anti democratic cults.  None of which is happening in Canada.

Canada does not have a revenue problem, they have a spending problem on all the wrongs things…not hard to understand…get the idiot politicians a fucking calculator.

I love the deflection when pointing out how selfish parents are…lmfao.  Yeah I live paying income tax to support your lifestyle.  Send me your email…I’ll send you 5 bucks to buy condoms…

    Of course they do.

But it's conservatives who always shit a brick when taxes go up to pay for these services.

They want nothing but taxes to go down. That comes at a cost, as we're seeing now.

As an example, you have boneheads complaining about people having kids. Not realizing that they are an investment in their own future. Need a tax base to support our asses when we get old.

But hey, that's to much thinking for down the road. Conservatives typically look at quick solutions to the now, no foresight for the future.

always love to hear from the geniuses crying about liberals not adding more beds to hospitals when uh, there wouldn't be anyone to staff them anyway. great healthcare strategy, folks.

"we have this wonderful bed right here for you, Mr. Dillon"
    "thanks, uh, where is everyone?"
"oh, it's just you and the other patients. here is your ventilator and some lubricant. enjoy!".

And when staffing the beds is included in the statement? Is it then a valid statement to be fairly considered?

Dude.  Ontario universities and colleges graduate thousands of people yearly with some form of medical training that leave to the US for jobs because of our corrupt politicians and government administration who ran the system into to ground.  Just curious dude,  do you ever get tired of being debunked and pointed out as providing  nothing to  conversation…I just pointed out how about how wrong you were were about Trudeau and his tofino vacaction on national reconciliation day…lmfao.  Yet you come back for more.  Lmfao….

of course. but in so many circumstances, not just health care, but child care as well "oh, we're going to create x amount of child care spaces". Oh, fabulous mr politician, but how are you going to staff those spaces when no one is entering that field because salaries are terrible?". that's what I'm talking about. so many people think the problem is literally beds/space/equipment, and you obviously know that's not the case.
